@tokyochi the one without anything added at the end or or you can DL and play all the chapters (most are on the PC) of the game though the character design is different from the anime in most of the game but its more detailed and has everything that the anime (had to) skip

what i know so far is thet there was the boy that all the girls fell in love with and when he died all the girl blamed the other girls and the best friend (the boy with brown hair)so they started killing each other off the first episode tells you that there was this disease going around making them crazy like this

I hate it when people stereotype this as just a bloody horror anime. It has awesome morals and really shows you a lot of things that you wouldn't have otherwise thought of. After the first season, the story just gets to be purely amazing. This is one of the best shows I have seen in my life

i agree, but i think the bloody, disturbing nature of this series definitely makes it unique along with the plot. I love the second season too (Hanyuu!!!) its more about the plot than the violence, also the visual novel and the manga get into a lot more detail, the anime leaves out some interesting details

Of course, I'm not saying the blood and gore makes it bad. That adds to the series and gives it that original feeling. The plot is what really keeps the show going strong and keeps you addicted :D

yeah, I'm not going to lie. That's what I cam to Higurashi to see at first. The confusion and violence/horror keeps you hooked at first, and then the plot gets more intense,complex, and heartwarming at the same time, which makes you want to stay to watch just as much as the blood and gore.

totally, and there's so much more to see beyond the anime, 5 arcs exclusive to the manga, 3 to the ps2 game and 3 to the ds game, most of which simple expand the plot, but one changes the ending, ill never get tired of Higurashi

The series makes you guess Holy sh*t what i going to happend next or is Oyasiro real or jut a parasite. Is Rena really messed up in the head. The plots in each og the seasons are confusing, grifing, and most of all makes you wat to know what is going to happend to the main character of the plot.
