Thanks man you were very informative and helpful im definately picking up some of those and trying it out cuz it annoys the crap out of me when it leaks i thought it was faulty at first but its those caps
Thanks for the tips. I have not tried soft caps yet, but this should work well too: Get a small 2.5~ 3mm o-ring, put it on your USED cartrage an stick it in, so the o-ring get on atomazer needle.
After that it just stays there and work as a seal.
I'm fairly new to vaping and started off with the eGo-T kit. I was a little disappointed that the standard atomizers didn't last too long before needing disassembly and cleaning and that they are only meant to last 2-4 weeks at roughly $10 apiece. But I just found a great alternative. The eGO Cartomizer 5 pack by ECHO at ecigexpress for $13.99! FIVE for a little over the cost of one standard atomizer. They vape perfectly and they seem to last longer. And they hold more juice than the tank.
"gets very annoying and very messy" it got into the button of my ego passthrough and destroyed the circuits.
luckily there was still like 2 days left on my warranty and I'm getting a replacement. :)
In the mean time I'm smoking analogs while waiting for my order AGAIN. Funny that I went 9 months without a single smoke and then I have issues two times in the same month... I'm ordering backups lol
I have been doing this for a long time now.You can use any needle to make the first hole in the silicone end. After that the tank just slips on the post in the atomizer and forms a nice tight fit
Hey Mark, great tip. I'm gonna try that. However, when I looked on eBay for a 12 gauge 2.7mm needle, I could only find a 12 gauge 2.0mm & a 10 gauge 2.5mm needles. Could u tell me the seller u bought the 12 gauge 2.7mm needle from?
12 gauge needle is a universal standard size. The INNER diameter is just over 2mm. The OUTER diameter is a little smaller than 2.7mm, that’s what I was referring too. Just get a standard 12ga needle.
@Pianoman077, I'm only aware of the soft caps being silicone, but if they make other soft caps out of different material, I'm sure it will work.. Won't work with hard caps.
Thanks for the video . Do you happen to know any thing about using the round braided silica rope to replace the wick on the ego tank atomizer ?
A good video on that would sure be helpful . thanks .
