@SuperKeith00 Meh, I've stopped caring about superhero relationships now. They will never last so who cares who they're with or pining over for the next decade or two. It's common knowledge that in comic books death is cheap, same could be said with girlfriends and marriages. So Peter, enjoy Carlie while you can before she gets Mary Jane'd or Gwen Stacy'd.

Does anyone think that the odea of have Spidey join the FF is a referance in a way 2 "What if...?"#1.Also would'nt it had made more sense 2 have the golden age android Human Torch (Jim Hammond) join the FF 2 sub 4 Johnny even though Jim Hammond ( I think) died somehow during the Siege stroy line?.If they did that then I think that would have been a good way 2 show how the (FF at least) got over the events of "The siege" quickly.

@aang41992 none of them, it'd have to be someone closer to home and more in tune with semi-cosmic adventures and a more free-range down-to-earth personality, Ghost Rider is too mystical (and anyway there needs to be another Midnight Sons series!), already had She-Hulk in the team during Ben's absence, and Spiderman's spread too thin as an Avenger/musical/movie/etc (idc if Thing is on the roster, this'll change, he doesnt fit), bring Franklin back into the mix somehow, keep it in the family.

dude jean grey, by far.. throughout history jean grey is the only true queen of the x men. you dont need to bring her back from the dead but, you dont need to replace her either. personally i was a big phoenix and scott fan, but now i think you should keep her dead still the story line comes up,
the FF were only a few months away from a real 50th anniversary.I think it would have been better if they had 1 more regular storyline before killing off a charchter & doing a final issue (which they could have arranged 4 November)
How Cyclops balances what he has to do and what he wants to do can be a very interesting dynamic, especially why! Why doesn't Cyclops take Wolverine out back and blast him until his skeleton shines, why doesn't he go out on his own?
@fullmetal, as for Cyclops being overrated, he's been in the backdrop for years now. Hell decades, they left him with his most basic qualities giving him little development, hell Jubilee went through more emotional discovery than Cyclops. But, what makes Cyclops more redeeming than lets say, a paper cutout, is that his basic qualities have a fantastic tension to them. He wants to be a leader and live up to X's legacy, he wants to trust and love his wife, but Wolverine is a huge prick, etc etc.
@ Kiwamuthekappa, I totally agree killing Nightcrawler was dumb. To be perfectly frank, I think X-men lost its way with Wolverine's popularity, mutants and mutant persecution was always the driving force. The X-men walking the fine line between helping mutantkind and protecting humanity is always what made it good, the development of that dynamic. I'd love to see Havok return and try to step up to his brother's legacy, that would be a great. (Will continue, character limit is coming)
Cyclops is highly over rated. I think Emma makes a way better leader. But she really needs to go back to being a huge bitch.

if x-23 losses to Daken. There isnt any hope for the books. She has metal in her claws and can cut through bone. His name is even bad. They killed of Sabretooth and put Daken in his place. As for Emma Frost vs Jean Grey? Jean Grey is the love of Cyclops' life and that's how she'll stay. But when it comes to essentially ruling over the remaining decimated and ever shrinking mutant population, you need more then a loving supporter.
There's a reason that Emma Frost was the mutant rep on the Cabal and that's because she is naturally capable of being ruthless and considering their situation that's what Cyclops needs.
If someone else was leading the mutants then for sure, Jean Grey.
Sentry? Really? I don't think I've ever hated a character more then the Sentry with stuff like fighting Galactus to a standstill? Being able to defeat the Molecule Man? Seriously? dude jean grey, by far.. throughout history jean grey is the only true queen of the x men. you dont need to bring her back from the dead but, you dont need to replace her either. personally i was a big phoenix and scott fan, but now i think you should keep her dead still the story line comes up,

the FF were only a few months away from a real 50th anniversary.I think it would have been better if they had 1 more regular storyline before killing off a charchter & doing a final issue (which they could have arranged 4 November)

How Cyclops balances what he has to do and what he wants to do can be a very interesting dynamic, especially why! Why doesn't Cyclops take Wolverine out back and blast him until his skeleton shines, why doesn't he go out on his own?

@fullmetal, as for Cyclops being overrated, he's been in the backdrop for years now. Hell decades, they left him with his most basic qualities giving him little development, hell Jubilee went through more emotional discovery than Cyclops. But, what makes Cyclops more redeeming than lets say, a paper cutout, is that his basic qualities have a fantastic tension to them. He wants to be a leader and live up to X's legacy, he wants to trust and love his wife, but Wolverine is a huge prick, etc etc.

@ Kiwamuthekappa, I totally agree killing Nightcrawler was dumb. To be perfectly frank, I think X-men lost its way with Wolverine's popularity, mutants and mutant persecution was always the driving force. The X-men walking the fine line between helping mutantkind and protecting humanity is always what made it good, the development of that dynamic. I'd love to see Havok return and try to step up to his brother's legacy, that would be a great. (Will continue, character limit is coming)

Cyclops is highly over rated. I think Emma makes a way better leader. But she really needs to go back to being a huge bitch.
But what is it with Marvel and this "THERE MUST BE NO HAPPY MARRIAGES. EVER." deal? Seriously. My two favorite marriages (Vision & the Scarlet Witch and Son of Satan & Hell Cat) got completely screwed over. Emma Frost needs to go back to her bitchy roots, the dynamic between a slightly evil Emma and a Lawful Good Cyclops was an awesome storyline.
Jean needs to stay dead for one reason: The Phoenix Force, it's annoying and overpowered and with the abysmal character development Jean has had and has(in the other universes), she's not an interesting person.
My question: Will we ever see a Havok(Scott's brother) return or brought more to more of a forefront?

AS much as I love comic books there's so many fucking series of the same main story that I can't fallow 'em. But I think Jean was better, but I prefer my characters dead than all this coming back bull crap. It sucks to see a character go, but EVERYTHING must come to an end Marvel has constantly stated that they're inspired by the real world, so why do they choose to ignore death? And wtf happened to MJ and the Spider. Since when has she been pushed aside I recall them being married.

if x-23 losses to Daken. There isnt any hope for the books. She has metal in her claws and can cut through bone. His name is even bad. They killed of Sabretooth and put Daken in his place. Never liked his story line and ended up not reading wolverine after that horrible sword came back into play. Sabretooth was 10 times better then Daken will ever be. lol sorry for venting. SOme of the decisions that happen i wonder if they are trying to make it better or screw things up. *Cough* wolverine movie

As for Emma Frost vs Jean Grey? Jean Grey is the love of Cyclops' life and that's how she'll stay. But when it comes to essentially ruling over the remaining decimated and ever shrinking mutant population, you need more then a loving supporter.
There's a reason that Emma Frost was the mutant rep on the Cabal and that's because she is naturally capable of being ruthless and considering their situation that's what Cyclops needs.
If someone else was leading the mutants then for sure, Jean Grey.

Sentry? Really? I don't think I've ever hated a character more then the Sentry with stuff like fighting Galactus to a standstill? Being able to defeat the Molecule Man? Seriously? He's only useful as far as a Marvel vs DC battle goes if you REALLY want Marvel to win against the overpowered Superman.
