I purchased the New Super Mario Bros Wii and I know it updates the console, I guess to version 4.2. Mine is 3.1 right now. Can I install these files even after upgrading the console with the NSMBW game ? I heard that the update is that disc completely wipes out the possibility of using HBC. @GustavoMdeOliveira The chances of bricking your wii with the homebrew channel is very unlikely. Just remember, DO NOT update your wii to version 4.3, unless you have the Lego indiana jones disc.

@Solidfox00 You can run homebrew without the SD card but it would be useless because you would have no apps, because those load from the SD. But you can still play with the bubbles :D
