@trevLV Krokus has WAY better songs than this. Bad Love, Winning Man, Screaming In The Night, Eat The Rich, American Woman, they all smoke this song, though it kicks ass as well.
You can be fairly certain that songs that start off with "we all know about 69" are going to suck. This song could suck a bowling ball through a garden hose.
I'm tired of corporate America trying to suppress the existence of bands like Krokus. If Germany can come to terms with its Nazi past, America should be able to come to terms with the fact that way back in the day some maladjusted loser teenagers used to listen to crap like Krokus.
To everyone saying "its AC/DC" just look at all the suggested videos to the right. Many videos for "Long Stick Goes Boom" by "Krokus". Not a single one for it by AC/DC.
@sonsofthesportsguy You should check out Heatstroke, Rock City, Rock 'n Roll Tonight , Hellraiser, their version of Eat The Rich, and many other Krokus tunes. All very similar to AC/DC.
@rodentcafeteria I thought the same thing when I first heard this song in 81 AC/DC asked Mark Storace to replace Bon Scott in AC/DC but he turned down the offer but DC didn't do too badly with Brian I don't think
@TheThomasmoon Totally agree. Brian had some large shoes to fill and definitely got the job done. BUT, this guy is/was the closest thing to Bon Scott that I had ever heard. Apparently, Angus and Malcolm thought so too!
This is the best album by Krokus by far, every song is brilliant old school metal for sure, not many bands can make a album so good as this one.And as for todays rock it's shite
not trying to pile on, i too thought this was ac/dc but that brian had really got his voice in shape. totally cool that it's krokus and that they are still getting it done. big respect to them and best wishes. they got their own thing going, but sometimes overlap happens. just glad these cats are still making good music
@transformerlee01 No, Marc Storace isn't from AC/DC. However, AC/DC wanted him to join after Bon Scott died. Marc chose to stay with Krokus who were on the verge of breaking through at the time.
If you don't like Krokus cuz they sound like AC/DC it's like saying you don't like your gf cuz she looks to much like megan fox. Just pathetic. Same goes for Airbourne. \m/
Wanted to point something out to all of you that say Krokus is a AC/DC clone, That's like saying every band that came after Black Sabbath or Led Zeppelin is a clone band. Bands are influenced by artist that came before them, that's just commen sense. Also wanted to point out that Metal Rendez-vous album came out in 79' and Back in Black came out in 80'.
