  • I never head this version before. I have their 3 albums on lp and cd and Faith on lp and cd too...but never heard of this VERSION BEFORE.

  • The 80's, when haircuts actually looked good.

  • "i am a man"?

    ..

  • this is tooooo great, forever love George Michael. :)

  • i was 13 yrs old when i fell in love with Wham!. cant believe i am 41 now and still in love with Wham! God bless your friendship George and Andrew!

  • @Crystalom3 It was fun.

  • George and Andrew....the Penn and Teller of the music industry....

  • Keep pressing 7....

  • This video is so delightfully cleancut for an advertisement for the dole. I notice no-one's spending it on methanphetamine!

  • I remember when I bought this cassette and played it in my walkman until it was worn out and I went to TOWER RECORDS in NYC and bought another one.

  • my dad was being an ass and told me him and his wife hated 80s music and dissed george michael.

later that day i saw this song on his ipod.XD

  • keep pressing 0 :D

    Augggghhhhhh!!!!!!!!

  • I'm a 16 yr. old male and finished Grade 10, and I like older, good-quality music. This song is the least depressing compared to most songs I like, it's very up. Good rap. I love this band and one reason is because they seem like they like each other and even though the band hasn't been active anymore, they still see each other according to some sources. Also, they're funny. This seems to be my favorite Wham/George Michael song.

  • Cheesy, at it's FINEST, I love it!

  • George is gorgeous!

  • This Wham! song is a fucking gem!!! If I make a mixed 80's cd, I always put THIS track on there instead of Wake Me Up Before You GoGo or Careless Whisper. This song is the SH*T!!!

  • cuz I first heard George michael' LAST CHRISTMAS" in forever 21 store and my mom later told me it was george michael who i heard of but never paid attention and now i watch wham and georges videos on youtube ALL THE THEM, WHILE EVERYONES watching stupid justin bieber!!!!!!!GEORGE MICHAEL BEST ARTIST EVER!!!!

  • this is better than justin beiber!!! im a 16 year old girl !!!wtf!!LOL

  • @GAGAGMMJFAN how did you even here about this video?? and yeah of course its better then justin beiber... wham and george michael's music is better then any other music(:!!

  • george michael was handsome in the 80's and still is!(:

so was andrew... he was a cutie(:

I LOVE THIS SONG/RAP.. thumbs up if you feel the same!!(:

  • lol, this version is enterily different than the album version :( kind of sad, cuz they don't have this one on the album, but this one's catchy too.

  • i was in like 2nd grade when this came out and had the BIGGEST CRUSH ON GEORGE. i still do !

  • OH GEORGE SO SILLY SHULDNT U B GETTIN ARRESTED IN A BOYS BATHROOM N SUM 1 TURN THIS CRAP OFF YOUTUBE WAT IS THIS IS THIS WAT MJ N WARREN G SOUND LIK TOGETHER SO GAYY

  • HAHAHA ARE YOU MOTHA FKIN SERIOUS???? THIS IS WHAM'S DEBUT?? HAHAHA THIS SHIT IS FKIN HILARIOUS!!!! OMG OMG OMG OMG

  • i love george's mini-ponytail!

  • they knew he was gay at this point right?

  • do you enjoy what you do ? job or no job?

  • dont know why every time i watch a george michael/wham! video there are always so many comments about sexual orientation who f....n cares! not to mention andrew is not even gay!!

  • @juliew625 Jesus, you're right. Talent is talent. I know lots of gay people, emphasis on people, kids. I am also a Christian, but that means nothing at the end of the day. Why is cheating on your spouse okay when most of the gays I know are far more monogamous than most people? George is talented and intelligent, so to hell with the rest.

  • This is killing me!! I can't deny their talent, but please stop!

  • @esseen100 - Haaa! Got that right! This was in my day, and i still thought...... Please Stop!! Was NEVER cool!! Haa.

  • At ... 2:20.....George Michael turned around while Andrew was still dancing the other way lol.

  • can andrew sing?? i seen him never sing .....lol he can not even sing

  • THIS IS HIP HOP.

  • this song is so perfectly campy, upbeat, catchy, tongue in cheek subversive, yet still it was mainstream 80s pop. i rocked this cassette/album so hard in 4th grade. i really miss the goofy, big haired, neon hued pop innocence of this music era.

gone but not forgotten!!!! Viva la YouTube, :)

  • Rap today is too serious. This is fun

  • Holy crap! Forgot about this song

  • Yes, young people who are here: the Eighties were exactly like this. It was so much fun to be young back then.

  • thuper gay

  • I wish I knew being a closeted gay man was so fun!

  • Love George's tail!

  • love this... especially andrew's efforts at miming :)

  • what year was this vid made ?? george and andrew were So freaking young !!!

  • @johnnydeppfanCA it was like 1982... omg music was so fun miss it

  • @johnnydeppfanCA around 1982

  • このバージョン初めて聴いた

  • So corny....but I LOOOVE it!

  • I <3 WHAM. no further explaination needed. lol

  • wow george qwas so young. adorable.

  • One of the great moments in rap history.

  • Wow he rapped before Eminem

  • 1:05 OHH YEAH THATS WHAT I CALL 80'S!!

  • Comment removed

  • DHSS???

  • @jocam32

DHSS was the Department of Health and Social Security. Responsible for unemployment payments

B1 and B2 were the claim forms you completed to receive unemployment benefit.

"cos the benefit gang are gonna pay." Also UB40 was the Unemployment Benefit card you had to take to the office every week to "sign on" for your benefit payment.

  • @steveakys thats awesome...ive had unem b4...ima start a band called CALLIN BI-WEEKLY...lol

  • Bien la cancion y el video, pero si se ve gay, sin embargo la voz muy buena y se mejoror con los anos ja, ja, ingleses tenian que ser ja, ja

  • Come...On... Fhqghwgads! Everybody Fhqghwgads!!

  • I so f...ing love the 80s.This song is so f...ing awsome!

  • Its 2011 and this is still relevant lyrically, politics dressed up in campness... great!!

  • i love this song!!!!!

  • Great!!!

  • i wasent even born but my parents show me and i loved it is great and mad beat and tempo

  • great.

  • GR8 -FLASHBACK

  • really someone believed he was straight!?

  • @ArikIkirA OMG hes gay ??? I mean Seriously ???such a pitty for girls

  • @ArikIkirA In the 80s everyone sound and looked gay . it was cool at this time .

  • 1:23 Helvetica!

  • I will never understand why people were surprised when George Michael came out of the closet.

  • @4rcit4 yeah he made it pretty obvious in 1998....if you know what i mean......lol

  • I like this. I have 14 years old and this is cool for me.

  • 500,000th viewer hahahah, wow, I have no words to describe what I have just witnessed

  • @bdhammi ...ummm is that in a good or bad way lol!

  • @ariesmum72 I still have no idea, it's just mind boggling, because of what George Michael became after this.

  • GROOVY

  • oh its just so campy. its just so 80s. I just so fucking love it.

  • 1:41 =O they are men

  • Their shoes don't match their outfits!

  • @lilylosh it's the 80's that was the style

  • George Michel coolest gay ever

  • theyre wearing girbaud jeans!

  • what da hell is DHSS

  • @yuneth3 Department of Health and Social Security. Existed until the late 80s, now it's Health and Work & Pensions.

  • this might be a gay song but u never get bored of it

  • What is forgotten is the bass drivin' music of the 80's. All of the pop music of this era with Duran Duran with John, down to Kajagoogoo was bass drivin'. Deon was an incredible bass player and still is.

  • aaaaigggh those shoes at 1:06 and the rolled jeans...topped with a leather jacket. Oh the tragedy of fashion in the early eighties. makes me weep.

  • George dance tres jJimmy Sommerville. HAHA I can't believe he was not tagged as gay immediately. But in those days, it was still pretty much verboten to think/say it about a pop star.

  • Everything was semi- Straight till I saw the shoes they were wearing. Then I started loving this song just that much more.

  • I wish I was around in 80's. They make it look so fun!!

  • @Crystalom3 they definitely were

  • @Crystalom3 how old r u?

  • @Crystalom3 Me 2

  • @Crystalom3 That's cocaine for ya! lol

  • The best years ,the best band,.....

  • I just saw this for the first time today. I am in AWE of what I missed by being 10 and lacking cable TV in the early 80s: Just look how young they are. And how "straight."...The wallpaper alone in this video is epic...Pedal pushers...Point dance!...The plaid sweater...George's butt, more famous than J-Lo's...Guy at 2:02...I'm pretty sure when you refer to "street credibility" it means you don't have any....And on top of all that, they're RAPPING.

    Wow.

  • I love this video. I love these guys. Wham!, George Michael, Andrew Ridgeley...the whole bit! The more I listen to them, the more I can't help but love them. This particular some has had an impact on my life, as odd as that may sound.

  • I LUV THA FLATZ, GUYZ!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @mizzmuziqjunkie I've watched this video so many times and didn't notice the flats until a few minutes ago...hahaha.

  • I love the gaze in georges eyes when he stares at his orange foundation and notices that he created the desert sands. Love it.

  • love this song!

  • VHSS, DHSS, THFS??? What are they saying in the end?

  • @jmorrison1966 Department of health and social security.

  • I remember seeing them on American Bandstand in 1983, and Dick Clark thought they were a R & B Group from Detroit. Their performance was very important because they along with Bananrama helped bring in what is now known as "The Second Wave Of The British Invasion".

  • That's some hardcore rap. Real gangsta

  • This whole album brings back great memories. After watching this video now, 16 years later, I'm wondering why it wasn't obvious to me back then that they were gay!! LOL . . . STILL LOVE IT!!

  • I still love this damn song and video!!!!!!!!!!

  • remember dancing to this in my bedroom when i was about 11

  • iam now 38 yrs this was the shit when i was14 i never forgot and still love it, go figure???

  • how cute is this!

  • i bet he has a good time with the boys he meets down on the line!! lol!

  • Amazing to think that so many girls flicked their beans to this arse-bandit. FFS George, what were you thinking? lol

  • Haha oh God I use to think the lyrics were "Wham bam I am a man, choke on a cock you can't tell me that I'm not". No kidding.

  • @MrsRhythmNation Lol, after listening to that song I think I prefer your lyrics after all.

  • Bob Carter production is really underated, he's a master, very elaborated and simple melodies, great stuff. Linx and Junior Albums for those who like this stuff.

  • Girbaud capri pants, espadrilles & a rat tail ... wow ... times have changed ! ! !

  • 666 ppl like this video!! :D

  • Michael has to learn to stop whamming his whammy in public toilets

  • It really was downhill after this glorious debut.......

  • @KRISPYKWENT29 They had one last hoorah with Careless Whispers before George Michael took the world by storm in1987 with his solo debut. That was a HUGE album that went toe to toe with Michael Jackson's "Bad" in the same year.

  • Wow! I can't believe how old I am!! I still love it!!

  • hahahahhh..sassy

  • Thank you so much for posting this! I LOVE this song, takes me back to laying at the pool in the summer when I was in Junior High...

  • The rail alphabet! Reminds me of AMF Harley-Davidson... and SEPTA

  • Monday morning - always I can dream. Mondays feeling bleak. Monday I can't speak. Monday afos always such a pane.

Hey everybody take a look at me I've got Greek Insecurity

I once was George but now I'm Geoge, thats Yogi (Yogy) (Geo - gy) to you because I took the R out that once was Wrecky.

  • There was a white rapper before you Vanilla Ice and Eminem.. His name was George Michael..

  • George Michael is still cute & adorable!! (Humina-humina!!)

  • Andrew looks so sad at 0:25

  • @MonaeJune he was probably thinking about his future... hehe

  • what year is this from?

  • @Sixtiesfreak the year was 1982

  • @MonaeJune thanks. I first thought maybe 1984 but Wham already looked much different by then.

  • I was in jail all of 1982, I missed all of it that sucked.

This is one candy ass song, I don't like it at all, thank god

he changed his music 180 degree's

  • this is an awesome song and all, but i couldnt help myself. i HAD to laugh xD The boys of Wham! will show you how!

  • @onewholaughsalot14 i know... right? that part when they said the boys from wham will show you how was funny. i could not stop after i heard that. i love the song though

  • Andrew was my first teenage crush. It was Andrew who made me first take notice of Wham.

  • @SuzLa1 Andrew was the hotter one. he made me notice Wham! too.

  • I call this video "Watching Heaven"

George was so excited, slightlyGeorgek -

George was so excited, slightly nervous and promising himself that his foundation was not orange. Excited not only because his secret date was just moments away from curbing his embarrassment of only having himself for himself, the person may be his future partner. His reflection lacked aggression, but still looked see...mingly orgasmic. Curly light brown locks with hints of fair.

  • woh...i used to love this song

  • 1:27 lol

  • fucking adorable

  • is that Idris Elba on bass LOL

  • i like this version better instead of the one on the album. this 1 makes more since and more smoother sounding!!

  • This is the original version of the song that was banned by the BBC for the line "Make a claim, sign your name is all you have to do". Furthermore, there is additional guitar on the intro along with other lyric changes.

  • DHSS!!

  • This might be the fruitiest video I've ever seen. George looked SO YOUNG there - crazy!!!

  • I hear ya, mate.

  • Lovely beat and tempo in this song.

  • does anyone know where I could find a jacket like the one in the vid? my brother wants one. ha ha.

  • Just seach 'greaser jacket'

  • Thank you.

  • Just search "gay jacket".

  • thats real original.

  • Funny, nonetheless. :-D

  • ehhhh.... i beg to differ. but I get your humor.

  • haha 2:53

  • this is just way to catchy

  • carless whisper was wriiten alone by g/m. when he was 15....andrew did not help

  • George has said himself that Careless Whisper was not written by him alone, and that Andrew had taken part.

  • Excellent! I've always loved wham and gm....who cares about all of the other crap

  • The absolute best! :)

  • Tbqh, I like that hook.

  • of course he's gay people. have u been living under a rock? doesn't matter. he is absolutely the best singer/songwriter of all time. everybody looked stupid in the 80's! i will love him 4 ever! george michael fans unite!

  • what the heck did the second guy do? i never saw him sing, or do anything but tag along.
