  • i don't gamble on weather or not my religion is right, i just think whatever you believe in your religion will happen to you within your religion,

  • i thought you were orthodox? I swear orthodox Jews cant wear causal clothes?

    (im not a jew btw)

  • @aFckinPear He passed away, but yes Orthodox Jews can wear casual/modern clothes. There are those who choose to wear a certain garb, but typically as long as it's tznius (modest), you can wear whatever you want. He did however wear a kippah (skullcap) under his hat and I'm fairly certain he wore tzitzit (fringes) as well but you can't see either in the video.

  • @tovahification Oh alright interesting :) thanks for the reply.

    May he rest in peace.

  • sorry,but it's weird.

why would u b jewish and practice judiasm if u are not sure about it??

    i'm jewish,and i'm sure about judaism in 100%.

if i had doubts-i'm not sure if i'd practice it.

u cant be something and live a specific way just because u were born so.

i was born jewish-and i chose it,i choose judaism every day.

dont bet on your life-search for the answers.

  • Plaese fell free to ask any Q to make youtube on judaisum id be happy to Answer

  • This year is very speical , it's encoded in the pyramid ! 481 the height of the pyramid times 12 of the zodiac = the jewish new year 5772, 29th of September 2011 . Spread the good news !

  • @OrthodoxDarwinist are you crazy?

  • @OrthodoxDarwinist

Listen punk! Your comment is way beyond the limits of democracy. You may have your say but you cannot insult people. You are insolent and what you need is the treatment of the cane which is also kosher in Judaism, up to 39 blows; for your insolence only 7. But that would be enough to teach you manners. On the other hand you are not a Jew so you don´t count, neither does your comment. This young man is being nice and you do not respect him. Why should I respect you?

  • I seek all that is truth, and a book filled with deceit of the perfect creator does not complete my journey. I contain within, the perfecter, without creator I am nothing. Creators name is Yahuah, Yahuah wishes to be known. It is a sin to hide the name of Elohim. In human form he is known as Yahuahshua Ha Immanuel.

  • @whereismygracejesus Why do you want to make God a liar? God states several times in the Jewish Torah that he is not a man. There is no such thing as the God of Israel in human form. The only gods in human form are pagan.

  • @SarahRachel59 Struck a raw nerve did I, how is Adonai this week, having tea and cakes with Jesus or maybe some lavash with Allah.

Try calling on the name of Yahuah before declaring your view on the Divinity of the Creator whom can manifest in whatever form it so desires, even a homosexual. You know those people you would like to murder by stoning them to death, as you make your despised offerings rejected by God.

Have a nice day, Adonai loves you who ever he is.

  • @whereismygracejesus You're a real moron. First of all, you arent calling on the name of the God of Israel, you're calling on a pagan god, a man-god, a HUMAN sacrifice. Pagan. Yes, the Creator can manifest in whatever form it so desires. And the Creator TELLS us in the Torah that he does NOT manifest as a man. His choice. No idea why, you'll have to ask him some day when you're up before him trying to explain why you worshipped a man-god human sacrifice like a Mayan.

  • @SarahRachel59 Like frogs spewing from the mouths of liars. By the authority of Yahuah of hosts i remove you from the book of life, your only salvation is good works and the little faith you have in your despised pride, which is more than you have done for me, false witness and murderer.

"If I was in those times, I would not persecute nor put to death those whom are in the sanctuary of Yahuah."

    You never knew me.

    Repent.

  • Instead of telling Jews to repent, why don't you accept responsibility for your own behavior for a change. The Jewish understanding of repentance is more profound then you could possibly understand. Millions of Jews throughout history gave their lives for believing in the one true G-d, all thanks to the followers of a certain lunatic who perceived himself as a deity and cursed the world with his presence

  • @whereismygracejesus No, it isn't MY view on Divinity, it is called JUDAISM. You know, about 4000 years old, Torah, God of Israel and all that. Secondly YOU do not tell Jews what to call on, because YOU do not know anything about it. All you know is paganism. You're also extremely unfamiliar with Torah. The Sanhedrin was a merciful court. It even had a motto "One death does not make for a merciful Sanhedrin." Judaism recognises that some people are born gay, moron.

  • @whereismygracejesus And last but not least those laws are for JEWS only. So you as a non-Jew would never be put to death under Torah law for homosexuality, don't worry. Stealing someone else's holy books, tacking a crapload of paganism to it, and then declaring that now it's your laws (which you will then twist and pervert as you know nothing about them) and that it's now your holy book, doesn't make it yours, it makes you a lying thief.

  • @whereismygracejesus And one last thing. Your post is dripping with evil and hate. The tone is just dark, dark evil. Which is not surprising at all. You really cannot pervert the Jewish Torah and Judaism without expecting to be called on it, you know. And remember. You do NOT know the Torah or Judaism or the God of Israel and his ways better than a Jew does. Ever. Shut up, sit down, and learn from those who were given it IN PERSON by God with its meanings.

  • @SarahRachel59 You should read what you are writing Legion and practice what you preach. Tell me; is your murder a joy to your pride, Legion?

"I will put my words on your heart" Said Elohim! If I had never been polluted with lies I would still be loved by Elohim. Elohim is not a book written by human beings, implicating Elohim in wars for human pride, nor a scroll, false witness.

We are exclusive say some, what murderers and false liars they are, wolflings in sheep clothing.

    Repent.

  • Judaism is the biggest load of shit amongst all religions.

  • @patrickhenrysghost Religion is the biggest load of dung among Religions. False vipers laying eggs for empires. They never knew the love of Elohim. Hateful vipers and jackals.

  • @patrickhenrysghost Judaism is no different then any other abrahamic religion.

  • @theromashka1 That's a bit like saying Buddhism is no different than Hinduism.

  • @mjt1517 wha?

  • Judaism offers a LOT! Fear of others, (SOMETIMES with cause), restrictions on eating, marrying, holidays, (no Halloween for Jews????????), paranoia.....and being one of God's Chosen...........VICTIMS! If everyone can be different, why do all Jews have to think alike on eating and intermarriage, etc.! A famous motivational speaker has said: GET BEYOND TRIBAL! I Agree! The 21st centuryis for INDIVIDUAL Freedom. Judaism is, as Toynbee said, "A fossil"!

  • Ronen has Reb status. no question about it.....

  • I applaud you for your answers. You havnt closed yourself up to anything, and practise your faith genuinely because you want to. That to me is much stronger than someone who practises because they feel certain that, they are the "right" ones and have to practise that religion. What you have my friend is faith in the real sense.

    Good day!

  • The angels know Gd exists but they still love and serve him. why cant other religious people be reasonable like you. The Rambam extolled the virtue of being a reasonable moderate person

  • I'm neither Jewish nor a member of the Hassidic faith. But I believe Judaism to be a true faith because the followers have an intense desire to see the fruition of a messiah to make peace between man and God. This intense desire bears witness to a truth so deeply instilled that the only resolution would be the fruition of that strived reality. I also believe that Judaism's enemies are not the monotheists like the Christian or Islamic world, but ONLY those who don't believe. Shalom.

  • This video has made me a better person as of today: 7/8/10

  • geeze man.... this guy is freekin awsome.... im not religious at all.. maybe even atheist, but this is the only guy i can listen too and think.... hey maybe there is a higher power and its not just eternal blackness when u die... it would have been cool listenin to this guy as an old man.. i would say rest in pease but heaven is fuckin paradise..... go party!!

  • you make a lot of sense, and are very honest..very refreshing

  • No question why I felt like an island in the middle of the sea. Of course, I believed that little island was justified by all means. I watch this video and I see that the 95% all believed their way was just as right as mine, too. So is righteousnes an individual journey? If everyone is right, than who's accountable for their acts? I see more broader now. A broader view is a more accurate view of the whole picture. Yet, the picture is sooooo wide. How can we see it all?

  • Whew! Rewinding life! When I first started out in religion, I wasn't a fanatic, but everything was either black and white. So, everyone was either wrong or right to me. To me, that accounted for mostly 95% of the human population. I absolutely couldn't stand this because I thought everyone should study and observe the scriptures verbatim. No adding, subtracting, rewriting, transcribing, and interpretations. I thought all faiths and religions were stupid. I believed One G-d equaled One Word

  • He just seemed like such a good dude. I watched lots of his videos before I found out... :(

  • i love ronens openess & honesty!! his best guess etc...so chilled here too...

    SHINE ON.............

  • a truly eloquent man. his spirituality shines through. the world will miss him.

  • As a Muslim I do agree with u that alot of people ask that why dont God Just show him self the answer to this is as u said where is the test and the choice to do what he has commanded. u are give a choice to choose. so that is why we have brains to think and analyse.

  • There is only one G-d, and he is there for every person, plant, animal, blade of grass, literally everything he created. However, we the Jewish People, were chosen to become close to him through our mitzvos of the Torah. Yet, our religion allows any person who wants to the chance to convert.

  • There is evidence to show that Judaism, is logically the correct religion. If anyone is interested I can direct them to it.

    Josh

  • Ok, Josh, I'll bite. I love it when someone has the hubris to make such a statement about an issue that is almost totally subjective. BTW, you may have a bit of a problem with me as I was born into a mixed family - Jewish and Presbyterian. I can tell you, without fear of contradiction, that Christianity has the best holidays (no religion on the face of this earth can beat Christmas-it is without peer), ........

  • but there is a certain mysticism about Judaism that I have not found in any other religion (and I have looked)

  • And I so wish that Ronen was here to weigh in on all of these discussions. I miss his kind and gentle and tolerant spirit so much.

  • What does 'best holidays' have to do with reality and truth of the world?

  • I really am thankful for hearing your response. I am a Christian but more toward the Messianic Jewish type of teaching of Torah and other Biblical teachings of God. I appreciate your response as a believer. I have recently been struggling with faith and being confronted by many Atheist and even anti-religious school collegues that constantly trivialize belief in God by generalizing and just trying to make all traditions and worship seem stupid since this is how they believe.

  • Yeah you will come to find atheists are more intolerant than most religious people, they point at the religions who are missionary in nature and mock, yet at the same time they feel that everyone should believe there is no God just like they do......very hypocritical of them

  • Well, I was born into Christianity, but I have found much more truth of observance to Torah than anything else. So...I can say there is more truth in a Torah-observant following of G-d than that of a Christian lifestyle.

  • There is no one path to G-d. There is no right or wrong religion , You have to find your own way to G-d and believe what you believe in each of us has a different path to a higher being.

  • Honestly, I don't understand the kudos you're getting for your "honesty". You answered a hypothetical question. Since it is hypothetical, & not reality, then your answer is just your "educated guess" at what the outcome would be. Any other guess you would have made would've been just as "honest".

The train of thought seems to be, "Wow! He's not sure how the faith he actively embraces stacks up to other faiths, i.e. he's not walking around all sure of his little self, i.e. he's LIKE US! cont'd.

  • Therefore,Honesty= something I can easily relate to and/or agree with.

If you had answered you were sure , if you were born into another religion, you would find your way to Judaism, because you've seen it to be 100% unadulterated Truth.... how would that be any less honest??

Actually, the ONLY honest answer to a hypothetical question like that is..."How would I know what would would happen?" THAT'S honest.

  • The reason why many of us were giving kudos for honesty is because we often expect someone to say "I am 100% sure I am right about my religion." We are assuming that in this video he is being honest which I think is admirable as opposed to many who probably think as he does about their religion but would claim to have 100% truth. (Run on sentence but you probably get the point.) His response felt sincere when many others would have approached these questions in a less sincere way.

  • For anybody trying to compare and contrast Judaism/Christianity/and Islam there is a book called the Kuzari, where a rabbi, priest, and Islamic authority discuss their respective religions. I read this book when I began to become interested in religion, and it helped me clarify my convictions toward Judaism, but it also conveys very clearly the view points of the other religions.

  • Seems like we could start whole new religion worshipping points of contact between faiths. This would be a humane approach. If we want to be logical only then:

    God is perfect

It is more perfect to exist than to not exist.

    Therefore God exists

Rather, I prefer your phrase: 'consensual reality'. It has a nice sound.

  • That doesn't seem very logical...It is more perfect to exist than to not exist. therefore god exists? who decided that it's more perfect to exist? who says god is perfect? there is no real logic there...

  • This is classic 'ontological' argument. It premised upon perfection as a quality of an entity (in this case G-d, but could be 'duck'!). There are no degree of non-existence. Hence g-d HAS to exist.

Hope this is nice consensus reality for you.

  • Whatever helps you sleep at night...

  • First of all I like the honesty.

Second of all, I can say with all confidence that if I was born into a different religion it wouldn't stop me from finding judaism. I was born into christianity.

Islam might be a different story. Seems like it would be a more difficult path from islam to judaism.

And I totally agree with your bit about letting people express themselves how they want.

  • Wow, an unexpected response. Your honesty is really admirable and refreshing.

    Great video.

  • Wow. Like the other user commented, I didn`t expect you to answer the way you did. It was a good response though! Very honest. I think many times though, people mistake honesty for liberalism (in the moral sense). I definatly don`t have everything figured out, the world is too complicated for that, but I am doing the best with what I know.

  • To the person who asked the question-

IT IS PROVEN THAT THEIR IS A G-D AND THAT THE TORAH IS TRUTH. If you are interested you can watch the new movie that came out by Rabbi Mizrachi- on Torahanytime (.) com , and on the front page (Middle as a header) it says " Click here to watch Rabbi Yossi Mizrachi's amazing new lecture in ENGLISH !!!" Let me know if you found it, and what you think, etc.

  • good response

  • Wow. Thanks for making this response. That was a great video, and I really liked everything you said. I'm not sure exactly what I expected, but this definitely exceeded expectations. It's interesting that you mentioned the U.S. Constitution and our freedoms, because I just got finished answering a take home test question that had to do with free thought and the Constitution. But yea, I really like this video and thanks for taking the time to respond to me. Looking forward to seeing more.

  • Read my (other) post and watch the link I posted. It will prove everything and make things crystal clear. 1 more thing I would like to clarify- if you are not Jewish you do not have to convert, this is just a response to your question and interest and we Jews (ideally) teach that oher's can, but dont have to convert, but should follow the 7 universal laws given to the children if Noah (Humanity).

  • He claims that everything must have a creator. He says it would be stupid to say a watch came from a great explosion. If he said this, people would forever think he is ridiculous. However, I find his logic to be very flawed and his prediction came true in a way...because as soon as he said this I couldn't trust the rest of the video. He actually did say something, ironically, that damaged his entire credibility on this issue. For obvious reasons, this point he made was weak and misleading.

  • (just want to make clear that I am referring to the video he suggested, not this youtube video that I enjoyed)

  • Thought I would point out the main flaw: I can see a man make watches. I can see a watchmaking factory. The fact that a watch has a creator does not prove that the universe has a creator. It is flawed logic. This is what happens when we try to analyze the world from this human perspective. We see everything in terms of ourselves. We see the things that we create. Therefore, we assume there is some man who creates the universe. The watch analogy is not proof of a creator of the universe.
