Bgie2289. First of all, your response is totally delayed. I posted my comment a while back lol. But yeah, she can do what she wants. Its not up to me. But when you cover a mariah song its very difficult not to sound bad cuzz her sound is very different but also very refined. Regine has like a nasally weird tone going on. She has range but her tone is not appropriate for the song. It sounds bad. Just my two cents

I thought Mariah Carey was a "good" songwriter. Since the 90s, she has been sued for PLAGIARISM or COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT! LOL! Gosh, we've all been DECEIVED by Mariah not only with her FAKE VOICE through LIPSYNCHING/DUBBING but also with her FAKE SONGWRITING. These copyright issues were certainly WORSE than any of her negative publicities in years. What a SHAME. LOL!

Regine-singing-MC-songs-all-the-time is a MYTH. Mariah's songs WERE just FEW of Regine's THOUSANDS OF LIVE SONG PERFORMANCES for the past 20 YEARS now. Regine has now released 30+ albums and NOT one MC song was included. TAKE NOTE! Regine admires Mariah BUT MC is NOT her biggest musical influence as MC-BIASED fans would like to believe. but regine never ever revived mariah's songs, regine enjoys singing them well only at live performances, and there's no big deal, anyone can sing others song but not rerecord it without any permission from the original officer.....
