My father wrote me several letters when I was away from home in the late 80's and early 90's. One letter confused me as I didn't understand what he was talking about. Dad died in '96 and over the years, after countless moves, many of his letters were lost, except the one I didn't understand. I found it again in '02 and his words were exactly what I needed to hear at that point in my life. Thanks for the video...

My Fathers' Father passed a few years before I was born. 27 years later my Wife and I were pregnant not long after my Father was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. My son was born on August 4, 2008 and my Father passed away May 22, 2009. I got my Grandfathers name for my middle name....and my son got his Grandfathers name for his...I miss my Dad

My dad died a few years ago. At the time I was immature and thought I hated him. His last request was that I simply walk into his room to talk to him and I refused to do it... it haunts me to this day. Don't take the time you have with your father forgranted. Trust me.
The last thing I did with my dad was spend time watching a baseball game on television. He died of a heart attack the next day it was two weeks before my 15th birthday and i'll never forget him. There's no doubt your father knows how much you love him. He's waiting for you on the other side you'll be reunited someday stay strong and much love:)

There's nothing you can do just cry it out and remember the good times. It's cheesy to say it but it does get better with time. I'm 28 now and lost my dad 2 weeks before my 15th birthday so I know what you're going through. My thoughts and prayers are with you and all the people that have lost a loved one.

This song just gets me eyery time. First the lump in the throat then the eyes well up. I lost my dear Dad in 2001 and although it does get easier with time, the pain and the memories will always be there. Iknow that he will always be there, watchin' over me and my family. I'm sorry to say that I can't offer any tips on gettin' over these things, we just have to learn to deal with them in our own way. My heart goes out to everyone that has lost someone close. KTF my friends.

My dad died a few years ago. At the time I was immature and thought I hated him. His last request was that I simply walk into his room to talk to him and I refused to do it... it haunts me to this day. Don't take the time you have with your father forgranted. Trust me.

The last thing I did with my dad was spend time watching a baseball game on television. He died of a heart attack the next day it was two weeks before my 15th birthday and i'll never forget him. There's no doubt your father knows how much you love him. He's waiting for you on the other side you'll be reunited someday stay strong and much love:)

This song made me cry my eyes out, lost my dad january 19 of this year and it was the most hardest thing i have ever went through... I often find myself reminising all the memories i shared with him and often find myself crying every night still. The pain i know will never leave and probally never sumbside but hopefully one day it will be a littler easier to bare with... for me its still raw, i sadly lost my father on the 19th february. it killed me to know i couldnt be there by his side when he passed (he lived in the phillipines). but i still hold it close that he mentioned me and my sister before he went, i still cry sometimes and when im alone i even talk to him, i just pray that he is still around me. dad i know you cant read this but know i did and still love you, wish i could have been a better son xx

I lost my father when I was 9. He died on my eyes. He was no hero, just a fucking drunker, who drunk himself to death. And I don't want to remember him, but I will always remember living in poverty for years because of his death (my mother was a simple teacher and could'nt afford raising two kids alone). So I don't want to remember ANYTHING he said. Blame me for that...

so what does that say about how you feel about your mom. you're a male right? someday you may be in the same situation & not have the choice. "she" may take that child from you & all you want is to be a good dad.. but she disappears w/ the kid or blames you for everything & poisons that kid to you...all you can do is take it....and 20 years later.. get blamed for that kid's mistakes...thats how it really works.been there & still doing that..

I was wth my dad every day for the last 3 months of his life. He was a TOUGH Mother F@!#er! I told him on his last day that if he was holding on and fighting for me, not to worry, he made me the Man I am, and I've never been more proud of anyone! I kissed him goodnight and told him to say high to grandma for me. That night he went home... It's been 6 years and I rember it like it was last night. I cherish those 3 months!
