  • That was a great fight!

  • Viper is definitely one of the top tiers. Its sad that none of the elite group of gamers use her.

  • Iyo doesn't play Sim anymore? Damnit, he is my inspiration :{

I main Sim, and don't see myself stopping.

Watching Iyo play Sim, is a pleasure to the eyes.

  • @subzero3cx8 Iyo was like, THE DHALSIM to beat in SF4 and SSF4. He's sadly moved on Ibuki now....although he's one of the best Ibuki's as well.

  • God Iyo, why cant you come back to Sim?

  • Those few last moves at Round 1, where she does the dashing thunder-knuckle and goes straight into her ultra...

    FUCKING SICK!!!

  • Ummm all i can say is WOW, they are both amazing.

  • duuuude .. FZ read that dahlsim like a book round 3

  • I tottaly forgot that you can combo vipers super after a cross up super. Yays! More wins for me!

  • @Craft2299 are u always talking trash? super after "cross up super" ? not rly bro

  • If this was super street fighter 4, That C.viper would have been dead.

  • @MeiXLinge why?

  • @xjoey77 Because in super sttreet fighter 4 Dhalsim isn't the weak stretchy shit like he is here. He has increased stats.

  • @MeiXLinge may you post the old stats and the new ones please? I'd love to see them. Dhalsim is my second choice in SSF IV (I have him class B) so I like him a lot,I just wanna know more about him. Thx

  • epic viper

  • nice fight!!

  • wow what a viper!

  • Comment removed

  • I say down with Lyo. Call me a hater, but all Dhalsims seem to have cheap advantages. They pull of a teleport->ultra = half life bar gone. All those teleports-behind-back into a combo are the gayest thing in this game. Good job viper!

  • @aldimbog

huhu, it's iyo, not, lyo, and yeah dhalsims has some cheap avantage (his range), but, he is totaly free in close range. The teleports-behind-back is a very hard move, if it's not well done ( = if it's not done when your adversaire is doing something and so, cannot react) any dragon-punch-like or normal-defensive-move punish you, and then, you are in close range, which is never good for a dhalsim... and often result to a defeat...

    (and it's not teleport->ultra, but teleport->super)

  • @aldimbog wth are you talking about? dhalsims ultra only does 25% now if you combo the ultra with his super then it does half the bar

  • @aldimbog Dhalsim does not have any "cheap" advantages, he is very hard to play against

good players. You cannot afford to make mistakes at all, and when caught in close range his

speed lacks when compared to a lot of characters, and escaping will most likely not happen

without taking a punishment ranging from 1 fierce to a total beating.

Teleport>Ultra? I don't see that happening, you will mostly get thrown out of it, and teleport

on the ground will render you without options for a few frames.

  • Iyo did well...but wow that is some good shit from FZ...

  • I freakin Love C.Viper find me on psn sly_cooper411

  • Nice read by FZ at the end of the first round

  • @Baqsam99 I was gonna say the same shit after i saw this vid

  • Wow that was very impressive from C. Viper!

  • rly nice viper, flashy ending :)

  • very very good viper player

  • that was nice match!

  • @1:12, FZ failed to do c.mp SJC into Ultra after the lk. instead he flew up with a fierce :P. other than that, good game by both players.

Better than o'boring Sagat and Rufus matches, lol.

  • how do i do c.viper mixup at 3:53-3:56?

i tried doing the grab then dash, medium burning kick/Heavy burning kick but both of them just go through my enemy. how come the one in the vid, hits them?

can anyone tell me how to do it pls

  • @nut026539570 you have to do an instant air burn kick. basically, do a QCB then go to up-forward + mk or rh (for the cross-up) and lk will not cross-up.

  • @nut026539570 highjump before the burning kick.. just do it really fast, works for me

  • Comment removed

  • dhalsim needs no fcking skill at all ... just move ,stretch, move ,stretch, move, stretch ... so fcking easy you just have to do it in the correct timing -.- stupidest character in SF4 EVAR

  • @TheDimsh Then you don't know anything about Dhalsim. His damage outputs are low and so is his stamina. You have to play intelligently with Dhalsim to constantly space out your opponent. He requires significantly more skill than most to play at a high level, more so then Ken/Ryu.

  • @Ravenex2 i actually started playing street fighter alot more than when i wrote that comment ... you are right about dhalsim and im actually pretty sure that sagat is my new most hated character EVER ^_^ he's so annoying. And my new favourite is not ryu or ken or sagat or akuma or any of these more "popular" characters .. its cammy ;] and my secondary is balrog .. if you got ps3 we can do a match =) sry if i annoyed you

  • @TheDimsh What's your PSN? I am on the PS3, I'm not exactly great but I work with Zangief, sometimes Ibuki.

  • @Ravenex2 my PSN is Dimcho but the thing is that I don't have SSF4 i only got SF4 but im gonna buy SSF4 soon so add me if you want :P i got other games too :]

  • Wow this C.Viper player blowed my mind. Amazing performance, unmatchable skill with the character.

My kingdom for this C.Viper vs Ryu (Daigo)

  • @renefak

Yup, cause we all know Dhalsim's style of play is rushdown.

  • Yeah, amazing playing from *both* players, and awesome finish by FZ.

    RESPECT!!

  • I've never seen Iyo's teleports get stuffed so many times. Amazing Viper

  • haha I love that trick at 2.00

thats the kind of trick that only works in a higher-level match

  • @mintendac Yep lol. Mind games. He thought he would tele behind him and blocked in the wrong direction.

  • hey someone pls ans me. what if i m charging focus atk and viper does the ground smash thing? will it be like a normal hit whereby i will launch a reflex atk n heal back over time?

  • @ZRyuKageZ You absorb it. Why don't you just try it in training mode?

  • dis dhalsim made me slap myself

  • was the last super a l m or h super?

  • dang, FZ really had to work hard for that win. amazing finish. And Iyo's Dhalsim is the fastest one I've seen so far

  • fucking awesome finish1!!!

  • Awesome finish

  • Viper is hard to zone

  • 2:38 lol

  • my gd this is gdlk

  • Oh man Iyo deserved that perfect

  • Nice One Playa!!!!! gotta love it ;-)

  • there is a trik to doing dhalsims teleport so low to the ground after jumping and also how to do the mid kick into yoga flame.

    gives lots of people problems.

send me a message if you need me to explain how to do them.

  • how dude?

  • Wow that was an amazing cross up into super with C.Viper at the end of the 2nd round.

  • yeah... is that a high-jump cancel to cross-up off the ground?

  • @Idlevice IMO it looks like he timed his jump over Dhalsim into Her light fire kick- cross up and manage to pull off her super.

  • Comment removed

  • iyo + street fighter = Dhalsim ownage =D

  • That ending was GDLK! FZ is that dude, and for those wondering Iyo came out of retirement and is playing again.

  • wow wat a nice finish on that 3rd round. C viper under FZ control is madness

  • got to love 1:57

  • Comment removed

  • both rounds ended soo tyte but the first 1 the sound of the impact of the first kick + the KO sound just makes me go "DAMN" it sound like a shotgun blast xD

  • Bring Iyo out of retirement. PLEASE! His Dhalsim is fucking UNPARALLELED.

  • when did he retire? ;(

  • He's definitely the one I try and model myself from.

  • @TheGodOfPez NO DOUBT!!!!!

  • @TheGodOfPez

actually his dhalsim is pratcicly identical to mine except i have a extra trick or two up my sleve he is probably slightly more patient tho.

  • I absolutely lol'd at 1:24

  • I have to add that I didn't like Iyo's strategy for this one - Fz was so habitually canceling the ground bomb, he could have just punched half the round. Too many teleports to get in close to that dangerous creature - and he got caught several times

  • 1:25 is AMAZING! =)

  • Fz did a light super or a heavy super? looks lik a light

  • Holy shit that viper must be slowing down time or something.

  • "What a shocking conclusion!" Oh i c wut u did ther mr. commentator.

  • FUCK U

  • Damn man! I always use viper i love her, but that viper its like "get the hell away from me bitch !! " shit .. fucking good .. Damn it !! xD

  • I don't get it, if Iyo lost these matches, then why did he win the tourney?

  • This level of play makes me sick. So much skill and speed. Damn!

  • Probably the best fight I've ever seen.

  • What the fuck!? That Burning kick cross up to super at the end was amazing.

  • Did anyone notice the earthquake fake at 1:23, Dhalsim tried to tele out but it was a lightning fist instead.

  • It's disgusting that someone could think that fast. Especially against Iyo's Dhalsim!

  • yup, incredible~~ quick wit indeed, either that or he has played numerous dhalsims before...

  • lol im sure at their level they have played numerous everyones. But yea very quick wit.

  • Shocking conclusion indeed.

  • i just noticed the annoncer said that

  • didnt even know you could do that with vipers super.

  • The yoga inferno after getting up was sick

  • Fk me...wat a solid viper!!!

  • wow forget about goku vs vegeta jaja; this figth is amazing

  • wow wow.... viper at a high level is VERY different from what I expected... wow... 5/5

  • respect to FZ..

  • this battle is just amazing

  • Very nice HCJ Burning Kick into super by FZ. Viper Chicanery is the best kind of chicanery.

  • I take my hat off to any viper of that level, she is a tough cookie to crack

props to iyo as well though

  • DHalSIM FTW

  • prfect round 1

  • Fz has to be the best viper in the world. His offence and accuracy with his moves, given how hard they are to perform, plus he's doing it at the right time....he must be a competer player, lol

  • FZ is good. one of the 4 best in japan. but uryo has the most wins, joe and dashio is the most fun to watch.

but FZ being the best is clearly wrong. check the BP update in japan, Uryo leads. and none of the other 3 are found in the top 20.

  • its true uryo is the best viper at the moment but as he plays in osaka kansai he might not have as much competition as fz or dashio have in tokyo

  • that could be true too. i still claim joe as my fave. it's like he started the viper raping in japan. he was first viper player to place #6 in japan's top 20 for about 2 weeks. after that, he lowered in rank but was the top viper still. that's until dashio, FZ and uryo showed up, joe stopped sf4 for a while. cant wait to see him back in action.

  • yogaaaaaaaaAAAAA~~ CATASTROPHE!!!!

  • YOGAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! xD

  • Cheers man I never knew u could HJ Cancel the burning kick i've been inputting: d, uf (super jump) then burning kick motion and it always goes to high to cross up.

I'm slowly getting the hang of it but the super jump does come out sometimes instead of the HJ burning kick.

C Viper is my favourite but I tend to struggle when I'm being crossed up and rushed down and the fact her health is so low i lose often with her. I fair alot better with Balrog (Boxer) though

  • At the end of the last round to do cross up burning kick when the opponent was down did FZ do a jump and burning kick or did he do a burning kick wihout a jump? Been trying this on training mode but doesn't seem to hit...

  • to do a cross up burning kick all you do is HJ Cancel the burning kick. In order to do that you do the motion for the burning kick then hold uf for about half a sec then push kick.

  • it's an air burning kick the second you leave the ground. med kick + hard kick will crossup.

do the motion for the burning kick on the ground, jump fwd and press a kick button.

its easier if you hold down for half a sec (it means you don't get a super jump)

  • iyo is a genius sim player.

is it me or did fz play the best he's ever played in this match? first round feint into ex tk was epic.

  • Genius player... Amen

2:17. God... how did I never come up with that? That's so damn tricky.

  • spamming with viper takes a lot of skil

  • I agree as I main Viper. ; ) Feels much better spamming seismo hjc seismos and instant BKs than hados.

  • @mikolyyyy anything with viper takes skill

shes the hardest character in the game to play

  • @tr1tan that comment was a while ago i dont think viper takes that much skill any more after using her. I think other characters require more skill

  • @mikolyyyy

    other characters like who?

    please enlighten me.

  • Comment removed

  • @mikolyyyy Only technical move you need to learn with dhalsim is instant air teleport. other than that all his moves are easy. and mash characters you mean like honda and blanka? unless you're playing pad, you can easily do these moves using the piano method. As a technical character, Viper is the hardest to master period. 1) FFF 2) meterless FADC 3) instant cross-up BK 4) SJC Ultra 5) Seismo xx Seismo pressure 6) Fakes I've been playing viper for 8 months now and I mastered all of these.
  • Comment removed

  • @mikolyyyy

meh, if only holding back is hard, then i guess ya, probably its ur problem.

but i think for most people its viper the hardest.

  • @SedoSan I agree, Viper is the hardest technical char 2 master. And even after you master all of her tricks/moves ur still not done. All of the mindgames that come 2 play from even a single feint are simply amazing. No other char has as much options or grants as much satisfaction as her. 50% percent of the people I fight with my Viper reports me as a cheater or unsporty player. I have the stats on my XBL account. But its worth it, cuz she is perfect. :)

  • @mikolyyyy SMOUSH CHARACTERS!

  • dhalsim has a great ultra. It has no recovery and when done as a meaty has a 50% chance of hitting you because he has instant overheads and slide. and it combos into super for sick damage.

  • Holy shit at the first round finisher.

  • Comment removed

  • holy shit, what a finish

i need to find out how to do that burning kick crossup..anyone got any tips?

  • Quarter circle back then hold up-forward and hit roundhouse kick.

  • YOOOOGAAAAAAA

  • Wish Iyo got that perfect...

  • Wow, that flame kick into super was the shit.

  • great finish.

  • Who else thinks the ex tk in the first round was an accident.

FZ does a regular siesmo feint, then an ex siesmo feint? then ex tk. It just looks like one of those accidental things lol.

  • no. it worked. if it was something random and accidental u can bet Iyo would have blocked it and punished it. its too much a coincidence, especially since he tried to get him across the screen very quickly, and thats just the perfect move to do it.

  • I don't get why it being random or not would influence how Iyo would block it, but neither of us will really know whether its accidental or not, just saying that I've done this exact type of thing when I try too feint in tense situations.

btw ex tk is unpunishable on block so Iyo would not have punished it.

  • Erm nah mate! You obviously haven't tried using C. Viper yet. That ex tk is a major part of her game. Of course it wasn't an accident

  • Ex tk is a very small part of her game. so so small, and you assume I haven't played C.Viper? please I can do her hardest combos with ease.

  • Well that makes your judgement even more ridiculously stupid because there was no reason for FZ to attempt an ex cancel (which is what i assume u think he was trying to do) from all the way across the screen. And I doubt someone with such poor judgement has managed to master Vipers combos yet. She's the only character in the basic game that's actualy difficult to use!

  • How do you think I'm going too prove my self that I can do all of vipers combo's on youtube? your just gonna have to take my word for it. wow at this comment though, I don't know what too say, its like you forgot what we were arguing about, I said his ex tk was maybe an accident, I don't even think it is now but you assumed I was saying he was trying to ex cancel? plz, just stop.

  • Pretty brainless to think it was an accident bcuz then you have to assume he was trying to do something other than that. The fact that it was an EX move alone should tell you it wasn't an accident but i can tell you just feel silly for not realising that earlier so we'll leave it at that.

  • Comment removed

  • actually the more it hink about it the less it hink it was an accident. he feinted right before it. he baited iyo into it

  • femstah is right. theres no way that was accidental. and Shindrah09, I doubt ur as good as u say u r when you would think that something like that is accidental.

  • Why do I respond too youtube comments.

  • Also, femstah...Viper's EX TK is far from a big part of her game.

  • Agreed. I was just saying that in terms of Turteling characters it is something she has at her dispsal! But yeah it is a very small part of her game!

  • I think the EX Seismo Feint might have been an accident, but the EX Thunder Knuckle certainly wasn't.

In my opinion, it looks like he was trying to buy time with the feints so he could confirm where Iyo was going to appear from his teleport, then punish it. The spacing of the EX TK was nearly perfect too, just the right range for Ultra.

  • This is probably a lot more likely, touche.

  • Yep...EX TK was obviously done on purpose. EX Seismo may have been, may not have been.

  • YOGA YOGA YOGA YOGA

  • OmFg.. .. ..

That cross over fk to special is amazingly HARD

I never knew you cross up with a fk at that distance. I'm going to practice now ahahahaha

  • hahaha i do the same thing when i see a new combo with ryu or abel lol.

  • The Japanese seem to unlock the fullest potentials of all of the characters--the ultimate in creativity. I never would've even though of doing the Flaming Kick to a Super either. The developers of this game have put a lot of possibility in Street Fighter 4 in terms of combos.

  • The Japanese unlock the full potentials of everything.

  • 1:23-1:31

Whoa, didn't think that would happen.

  • It's amazing to me how sophisticated they play this game. Nice match by both of them.

  • so glad that viper won

  • look up joe c viper nad daisho those are some good players

  • Awesome play by the Viper.

And to those that say, if Iyo played more than one match, then he would have won. Just shut up. Stop making excuses like that. Whether Iyo is better than FZ is irrelevant. In this match, he lost, and that's all that matters.

  • Wow, what a Viper. Iyo is great too, his confidence really eminates in his gameplay and he plays Dhalsim like no other. You just do not see games like this on the replay leaderboards. Thanks for sharing.

  • What leaderboard are you looking at ? Iyo replay and poogko is on the ps3 version if you actually watch them.

  • Xbox 360.

  • Go get the ps3 version or something and see for yourself you are missing out llyud.

  • Perhaps, all i'm saying is the "top" players on the 360 leaderboards ain't exactly what i'd called pro.

  • Really? i hope 360 players get the pc version i want to play em. I think its also because the game is online and people are experimenting as much as they can. I can tell you for sure that when theres 10 grand or money on the line people play VERY differently like these pro videos you are looking at.

  • Different how? They play very good/safe/tournament-ish.

  • lol i have fun online, and it became a habit to not play it safe very agressive.

  • LOL isnt iyo one of the top players in japan, He usually comes second in most tournaments after Daigo. He came second place to Daigo in the internationals. Daigo also cleaned up Justin Wong who had won the nationals championship and was battling for the international championship. i belive Daigo beat justin with a 5-0 ratio.

  • cant win them all......not even daigo wins them alll
