Although it is very different from homm3, this is still a really great game.

Some things I miss from 3, like the big armies, but others I really like, like you have wayyyy more options to customize your hero, helluvalot spells to use, and I kinda felt more drawn into the storyline then I did in the 3rd one.

AFAIK there is no original, just the same bits and pieces that composers combine.

Cant count the amount of times ive played through this game. Few games have music this great. Many people dislike HOMM4, but personally I find it to be a great game. The only thing i miss in all the HOMM games, is that the story isnt always linear from game to game. I think its a bit sad. But other than that, great games.

Weird bug happened to me, any music after few minutes in-game playing starting to just loop and cannot stop, 20-40 seconds of any track is just looping.... Any ideas? I have the original licensed russian version of the game... Also game is epic :3

This game seems really bad at first if youre used to play the third or the seccond game. But its really much better, the structure and setup is way better when it comes to fightning and magic. I love the third but I hate that the hero just stands by the side of the fight. The absolutely most beautiful theme in the game is this one, love it!

Well, I don't like that heroes can be killed in battles, because in this way the balance is broken. You will, of course, prefer an warrior hero, not mage, because mages can be hurt easily without battle training. There are not enough recources, 'cause there is no Capitol. I don't like the changes in the units, nor I like the new rules which I have mentioner earlier. That's why I don't like the game.

That's a lie, I prefer mage-hero and I've never had any problems getting owned by a warrior.

Resources aren't any problems either, that depends on the map and your skills.

I can't argue against the rules, but I have to ask: Is this a disappointment-thing or do you disgust the game?

No, I can't disgust ANY strategy game. I disgust Counter Strike, Mortal Combat and etc, because they are stupid, but what I saw in H4 was that the things were going to a point, where all the skills and important things are kept by the hero, the old balance was broken, and if this change was saved and developed in the next versions there wouldn't be towns, armyy and it might have been turned to a copy of other games and it would have been a pity if this happened. The result of Heroes 4 is much better than if 3DO themselves tried to recreate such epic tunes? No. That's why they took a deep inspiration and made the game real. All for the love of the gamer I suppose and that's okay with me. Because now I only think of great things when I hear these themes. It's just remarkably good music. Uncompareable :)
