The stories I have read about transmitting electricity across the sky without wire to appliance and vehicles were the invention of Tesla. The reason that technology has been buried (not lost) is because there was no way to meter it, make it exclusive, so it could be sold. This scared the monopolies. @zedonutube The coils can be tuned by a number of ways. The number of coils and the gauge wire you use is significant, and the size (distance/type) of the spark gap. Also the value of the capacitor used determines the charge/discharge rate of the spark gap. I imagine the aerial type/receiver is also significant. Most people can get a working Tesla coil just by adjusting/tuning these properties, you dont need to have a degree in maths (necessarily) lol.
In reference to the "Secondary" on your diagram; -does that represent the heavier-gauged wire that pancakes flat, out at the base of the magnet-wire coil (tower)?

@jmjpowerjoule yes "secondary is the pancake coil in a Tesla coil. The wire on the tower (coil) can be any conductor, copper wire works well. The wire on the pancake does nat have to be connected to the tower wire (as you call it) the energy is transferred "wirelessly" through inductance. UR Welcome.

Gravity induces motion in mass. Gravity is energy since it performs work by moveing a mass. Mass is not energy since it cannot move itself. Gravity does not become more or less efficient because there is no resistance to it. Gravity is energy pushing mass, obviously the source of this energy is infinite and omnipotent. @wolflover8765 Solar panels are OK but they are expensive and inefficient. They also depend on a clear day to work. Tesla coils were originally used to Transmit and Receive wireless energy and I also believe they can be used to collect radiant energy (see Tesla's Patent for the Utilization of Radiant Energy)... hence the purpose for the video, to share ideas... as far as I am aware... ideas are still FREE :P
i've always wondered why nobody has ever built a system to draw lightning, convert it to a.c. then store it in massive capicators, which would discharge it slowly through a controlled lc circut feeding a transformer. this is kind of what i think you are suggesting.

There is a Tesla design to collect radiant energy. There is a capacitor between the Van der Graaf sphere and the ground, and in parallel to the capacitor there is placed a load and a momentary connection. If the momentary connection is triggered in phase with the capacitor fully charging, there is usable energy used or stored by the load.

@stir99 How are you making Scalar waves? Tesla's Transmitter could send waves through the atmosphere and receive them at distance. He used the exact same technology to receive as he did to transmit. Makes sense if you think that thunderclouds are electrically charged particles of water. Interesting thought, but the energy collected would need by extremely high voltage AC, if I'm seeing your diagram correctly? That way it could pass into the primary, unfortunately... there is not magnetic core :( So it'd have to literally spark gap from the big coil to the pancake. @KyleCarrington lightning builds up over time by charging individual particles of water. The receiver could work the same way, continuously charging a bank of batteries or capacitors BY capturing the energy that produces lightning (before it ionises the air and becomes lightning) :)

Our Solar Sun (high voltage DC), the Central Sun (high frequency AC) and The Earth's magnetic field are what creates gravity. Water particles as in lightning are charged by the sun (there is a potential difference created between the earth and the atmosphere).

The earth's core is iron based, agreed and it conducts the electrical energies from the sun which creates electromagnetic field lines which generate turning force and attraction at the atomic level. @trendsetter37 The electromagnetic field from magnets isn't really strong enough to create electricity on its own, unless it is aligned and the electrons are concentrated and then collected by moving the field through a coil for example.
I'm certainly not an expert on Tesla Coils, but I'm curious about the wattage/amperage fraction of the equation? 1000 volts of .0001 amperage still doesn't add up to much.

The knowledge is not "new" the application of the technology "is". The device you describe was invented by Tesla and was denied a patent because he described it as a solar panel that worked at night. I've seen a diagram of it. It is not the one you've shown. The actual design had an areal grid tied to a capacitor then to ground. A rotary contact tapped this cap for a pulsating DC current to power transformer. Power regulation didn't really exist at that time so it had no practical use. If it were 50v/foot you would be electrocuted every time you stood up though
@buckstarchaser Yes I have seen that design, radiant energy can be collected at anytime (all the time). Technically we don't get electrocuted because the power is so low, and also because we conduct energy through the body so there is no potential difference to ground. Tesla's original design worked just as you say and then he could use the power to run generators etc. in parallel.
The premise seems to be correct. But its missing one important part. The receiver, which is essentially as large surface that can collect charge, needs to be humongous. Its not really feasible as a source of energy. Think of a thundercloud that collects enough charge to discharge lightning. Its more than a few miles across. Thats the surface area we're talking about.
@Judas1of12 Thunderclouds accumulate electricity by charging water particles, lots of little charges all add up to one big power source. The point of the video was to get the ideas "out there" so we could experiment and research ways to collect the power. The receiver doesn't need to be huge, about the size of a TV aerial by my reckoning if it is tuned correctly.
The elctricity to charge the water particles is the potential difference between the atmosphere and earth, which comes form the radiant energy from the Sun. When enough particles are all charged the same way and the air is ionised, the energy arks to earth. If we were to charge the ground the same polarity as the clouds ie. -ve -ve the clouds would disperse. Likewise of we charge the ground the opposite polarity -ve +ve we will attract rain clouds. It would put HAARP right out of business LOL.

@ssslawek Good point! Firstly you would need to store up enough energy to make it useful. Then you would need to pulse the DC with an AC converter, much the same way that solar panels work when powering your home, only this would generate electricty at night too :)

Two q's: the circle you called "capacitor/receiver" is that referring to the giant space between earth and 'sky'?
I will also go and review what series and parallel LC circuits do. More like an antenna at the resonant frequency.
The gap in circuit is to generate "AC-like" or interrupted power to activate the primary coil.
You said one thing to the effect "the middle circuit is in tune with the main transformer on the left." Could you explain how to tune that?

Gravity induces motion in mass. Gravity is energy since it performs work by moveing a mass. Mass is not energy since it cannot move itself. Gravity does not become more or less efficient because there is no resistance to it. Gravity is energy pushing mass, obviously the source of this energy is infinite and omnipotent. Airplanes fly by mass pushing mass which is friction/resistance, hence the wings heat up. E=mc^2 is pure quackery.

There is a Tesla design to collect radiant energy. There is a capacitor between the Van der Graaf sphere and the ground, and in parallel to the capacitor there is placed a load and a momentary connection. If the momentary connection is triggered in phase with the capacitor fully charging, there is usable energy used or stored by the load.

Interesting thought, but the energy collected would need by extremely high voltage AC, if I'm seeing your diagram correctly? That way it could pass into the primary, unfortunately... there is not magnetic core :( So it'd have to literally spark gap from the big coil to the pancake. So, it might work... if it was struck by lightning. I believe Tesla's representation, was in fact correct... and that it was a TUNING FREQUENCY he was looking for, to gather the radiant energy

Our Solar Sun (high voltage DC), the Central Sun (high frequency AC) and The Earth's magnetic field are what creates gravity. Water particles as in lightning are charged by the sun (there is a potential difference created between the earth and the atmosphere).

The device you describe was invented by Tesla and was denied a patent because he described it as a solar panel that worked at night. I've seen a diagram of it. It is not the one you've shown. The actual design had an areal grid tied to a capacitor then to ground. A rotary contact tapped this cap for a pulsating DC current to power transformer. Power regulation didn't really exist at that time so it had no practical use. If it were 50v/foot you would be electrocuted every time you stood up though

The premise seems to be correct. But its missing one important part. The receiver, which is essentially as large surface that can collect charge, needs to be humongous. Its not really feasible as a source of energy. Think of a thundercloud that collects enough charge to discharge lightning. Its more than a few miles across. Thats the surface area we're talking about.

The elctricity to charge the water particles is the potential difference between the atmosphere and earth, which comes form the radiant energy from the Sun. When enough particles are all charged the same way and the air is ionised, the energy arks to earth. If we were to charge the ground the same polarity as the clouds ie. -ve -ve the clouds would disperse. Likewise of we charge the ground the opposite polarity -ve +ve we will attract rain clouds. It would put HAARP right out of business LOL.

@GuitarJammer28 I think Ed's system was a little different, he was creating anti-gravity using a magnetic wheel (carrier wave) and wire wrapped around rock dust for the harmonic frequency of the rock he was moving... as far as I can make out gravity is an elctro-magnetic affect which can be switched off locally using the correct frequencies.

It works but, you wont get enough energy to be worth using. A crystal radio is ok but, you wont be able to power your house with lights in the night from it.

Anyway, the entire point was that you could have atleast kept the volume of that Matrix theme a little low since that interferes with your own volume feed. wouldn't you just capture the energy of the wi-fi - cell tower and radio waves in the area of the experiment? that's not free by any means, it's just that the radio, cell company has paid for it :))
