@mrlogicalman1 um, ok. and where is this miss-directed rage coming from? i don't understand why some people feel the need to troll comment sections when they have no interest in the subject of the comments as a whole. these comments are for people who like the show, who want to discuss it. it's not for you to throw random insults out for no particular reason...
anyone notice the "Han Solo in carbonite" Thingee there? It's in several other Episodes as well. Happy Hunting! Roumor has it the crew planted it to try and make NF corpse a scene, others say he brought it in to see how often he could get away with planting it in as many scenes as he could.
I LOVE the first scene of this. One of my favorite scifi sequences. River's point of view...so disjointed...so many hints of future stories we never got to see. Gives me chills.
4:42-4:45 OK,I'm awake. Now I just saw where River says, "Shh...Kaylee..." but grimaces and Kaylee starts backing up. I always knew Kaylee backed up then but I just now noticed what River says and does, specifically in this moment. Point being, I can see a little more clearly why Kaylee then felt so compelled to finally mention "The Incident" on Niska's space station. Kaylee sure did look like she was having a PTSD flashback in this moment....
I have seen this many times and yet it just FINALLY occurred to me- (DUH-layed reaction!) Wouldn't it have been interesting to see an entire episode filmed from River's perspective? Like those fringe episodes they did every now and then with the X-Files. Of course, all of us who wear Brown would be happy to see just about ANY new episode, right? I have the graphic novels and I've seen the fan films- couldn't we AT LEAST get an animated series? PLEASE!
When a new guy appears and his theme song has an oboe playing the melody, you know he's either mischeivous or evil. And it didn't look like he was going to pull a prank on the crew of Serenity.
I really like this episode :) particularly the beginning bit with the music and the hallucinations.
