    Thursday-Back

    Friday-shoulders+triceps

  • I've been working out hard for about 2 months but ive developed a knot in my muscles under my left shoulder blade on my back. After my chest workout the other week the pain got unbearable, so I saw the doc about it. He said to take some rest but I dont want to stop going to the gym so early in. What should I do? :/

  • i agree with you fully on this video topic bro. I'm gunna switch from 4day to a 5day split when i finish my cut. Chest, Back, Legs, Shoulders, Arms. KILLING all dem muscle groups like a monster

    Split that up into a block of 2 and 3 with a rest day between. Going 5 days straight in the gym isn't as good as 2 rest 3 rest, it will help your body recover better.

  • The only problem I worry about with chest/biceps and back/triceps on back to back days is after Monday lets say your biceps are sore, when you work out your back that will hurt the muscle repair of your biceps won't it?

  • Yeh I have tried both chest/triceps & back/biceps and chest/biceps & back/triceps. I must say I feel better and see more gains with the chest/bicep split. This is better because when you do chest, you are working out your triceps as well. Same for back, when you do back, you are working out your biceps at the same time.

  • good video, i think i will try chest/bicep back/triceps split, any recommendations for switching up the normal leg routine?  Also how many calories, and what are you macro's on your current bulk?
