This is the best James Bond film I've ever seen in my life! I grew up in the era where Pierce Brosnan played James Bond from 1995 to 2002. No disrespect to Daniel Craig or to the other actors that played James Bond in the past but Pierce Brosnan is and was the best James Bond ever! By the way, this theme kicks ass.

I like how people complain about Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace here, when in fact those two have far more in common with classic Bond films, where as half of Brosnan's films (Die Another Day and Tomorrow Never Dies) suffer far, far worse from a bad case of the 2000's (more horrifying when you recall that TND was released in 1997).

Arnold is only allowed to do what the producers tell him to compose - and since the latest Bond films are pretty much "Jason Bourne" movies (rejecting the Bond heritage) I'm sure that they didn't want the Bond theme being used.

naa, craig's a great bond, im sure his best is yet to come, if anything the reason quantum of solace was weaker was down to the script, whilst the action was great there was no real story to back it up, saying that tho its definitely not a bad bond film, just had a lot to live up to after the success of casino royale. roll on 'bond 23'

David Arnold came down to my uni yesterday to give a guest lecture, he's a really nice down to earth guy, was talking about all the criticism craig got for being bond just before casino royale came out, i have to agree with him, craig is one of the best actors of our generation and i'm sure you'll appreciate him more n more the more bond films he does, im sure the films will become more n more lighthearted n you'll get more slapstic remarks from bond...

craig just delivered what the film-makers were asking for, a more realistic, edgy and tougher bond, which he has done really well. Anyway back to david arnold, i did get the impression he wasn't quite happy with them using the awful 'another way to die' for the film, he definitely wants to be more involved in the actual title songs as appose to just the movie's scores, i'm sure he could have written anything a million times better than jack white did..
