  • Lovely voice, subtle and beautiful dynamics.

  • BRAVO DAVID !!!!!!! I LIKE YOUR VOICE AND YOUR MUSIKALITAT :))

  • Chastity, thou cherub bright,

Gentle as the dawn of light,

    Soft as music's dying strain!

See his gentle repeat of "soft" at 1:43 (really nice)

  • Absolutely wonderful! As good as any other countertenor. It seems that European high culture now lies in the hands of Asians. Europeans themselves are just forgetting the hole thing, and are bit by bit sliding into the horrors of Islam. It's just so incredibly sad.

  • Wow, David's voice developed fantastically over the last years, it's more beautiful than ever before. Though he's grown quite fat, but it doesn't matter - he's sweet nevertheless.

  • This to me is a most wonderful and simply beautiful aria. I have listened to it countless times and each hearing is a special moment in time. D.Q. Lee is one of those exceptional countertenors that rises above the normal class of countertenor. This entire production of Susanna is exceptional in may ways from the soloists, choir, orchestra and conductor. I hope to hear more from this orchestra again.

  • well, in my opinion, he has some serious vocal problems in here....

  • His voice sounds like a chainsaw is running, right in the middle of his long-sustained notes. CHAAA (chainsaw)AAA-sti-ty.

  • He reduces me to tears every time, and that is because God has given us an angel - I can well understand, having listened to David, how women (and men) used to faint from pleasure when listening to the great Farinelli...David combines vocal perfection and peerless technique with something much greater - soul and heart.

Wie geht es, doch, Harald? Viele Grusse, Julien

  • Thank you so much for uploading!!

    deeply moving...thank you again

  • This is simply ethereal !!!! Lovely beyond comparison !!!

  • I wept at the sheer beauty of it...what a peerless gift! Such expression and depth of understanding AND being able to convey that to perfection. He is, as another reviewer has said, truly 'out of this world'

  • @zimnaya

...and so did i...greetings from Germany

  • Viele Grusse aus Hong Kong, Putzilutzi! Such perfection! Did you know that he trained as a baritone, and then became interested in his present repertoire? There are so many very fine musicians from Korea: they have the passion and dedication to excel. My mother, who was French and lived in France, went to a music festival in Boulogne and almost all the winners in every category were from Korea, including voice!

  • @zimnaya

thanks a lot for your reply and informations. his qualities as a baritone one can very good here in Schubert´s Erlkönig!

    Love & Peace, Harald

  • Beautiful! What a wonderful, melting voice and compelling grasp of the text. David is out of this world, isn't he?

  • beautiful!!!!!
