  • voice great guitar sucks

  • She's beautiful and elegant in the video, and the voice is wonderful, whoever it is.

  • It is Cara Dillon singing, and 'Pepsi's' surname is actually Demacque-Crockett

  • just sit back close your eyes and enjoy

  • Saw it live, it's Pepsi - Cara has a more Gaelic voice :)

  • I don`t think that it`s HER voice. This voice is much higher....

  • this is Cara Dillon

  • what a voice

  • Great song, one of my favourites, but unfortunately this is not Pepsi DeMacque, but Cara Dillon. Pepsi has a nice husky alto, but it's not Cara's light Celtic tones.

  • The dubbed vid on Youtube has made quite a lot of people question their sanity: The voice is Clara Dillon. End of story. Helen DeMacque actually did perform the lyrics live, but someone substituted the live version for the album. Nice idea, though he/she should have made clear it was dubbed..

Helen gave a totally different atmosphere to the song. I actually really like both artist's interpretation. helen's original is also somewhere on YouTube. And she's pretty damn good.

  • zjawiskowa

  • Cara Dillon^^ Not Pepsi^^

  • @Xels11

It is the way she says "Hello" that made me wonder if she was native English or not...but it has been stated here that it is CD.

Anyway, have a nice day folks

  • Preciosa Voz y preciosa Cara D.

  • That's Cara Dillon's unique singing, not Pepsi.

  • Actually a playback, text being shortened. That's poor.

    Comparison reveals it.

  • Pepsi: what a beautiful girl! 150% hot and sexy.

  • Uhm.. That's a PRS Custom 24 he's playing.. Not a Gibson

  • @Karius7

Whoooooh, I thought is was....anyway it is nice, though

  • @ofrahazasongs Not to worry ^_^

  • Indeed it's not Pepsi Demacque but a very angelic singer by the name of Cara Dillon. Check out Cara Dillon's other material on here, every song is beautiful. Try "There were roses" for a start.

  • If you want to hear Pepsi do this song, see the London Concert clip. Her voice isn't quite as powerful, but its very smooth and sultry.

  • @2hellinahotrod

Yes I did listen to it, and your analyze of the voice right...but indeed beautul and "sultry" as the word you use

    thank

    Ed

  • Thanks...

Just to be absolutely correct, may I bother you with this:

The vocal on the performance on the adward from Holland or Germany - the clip on the youtube - is that Pepsi or Cara's?

    Thanks again

  • @wonderfulvoices Clara Dillon is the singer alright and Pepsi Demacque is lipsing...

  • Except that the singer on this song is Cara Dillon, not Pepsi Demacque.

Pepsi sung it many times live with Mike Oldfield, but the album version, which is the song here, is sung by Cara Dillon.

The mistake comes from a clip for the song, where it was Pepsi singing playback on Cara Dillon's version !
