yeah, i fucked up my cube by putting way too much vaseline, there is like no space in the cube, all u see are vaseline, and the vaseline kinda leaks out onto the surface, so wen i play with my cube my hands gets oily and thats jus nasty
thanks for this tutorial, i will clean my cube wen i have time
the only thing i wont be following is putting the core into water, coz i dont want to risk having the stickers fall off
@xXxSexyGoddessxXx Same here. WAY too much. I think I'm gonna keep some of the vaseline in until I get some silicone. I'm not puttin it in water either, but I might use a little wet towlette or wet washcloth.
I use CRC Heavy Duty Silicone which you can get at walmart for only $1.50 USD for an 11oz can. I also recently bought a 3 oz Jig-A-Loo can and it was my worst mistake ever lol. It make the cube sort of "melt". R.I.P Cube4You White Diy Type A (Generation III). So yeah, if you wanna keep your cube healthy but spinning with ease, use CRC Heavy Duty Silicone. (I always have 5 cans in stock in my closet since they are cheap).
just wet your rag squeeze 95% of the water out and wipe the cube but do not pull the middle pices up. if you do the water will be sucked in and rust the screws and springs
I dont know. For me, stickers fall off just through normal wear and tear. My stickers didnt fall off, but I was really careful. I think As long as you dont scrub really hard, your okay.
I dont do that with the core.... It makes it rust.

@RubiksiswhAtiMdOiNg
Stickers will not fall off with water. The only thing that will wear the stickers is oil based substances, like vaseline and other lubricants.
