  • I have a 10 month old male German Shepherd named Koda whom I adopted from the GS rescue in Burbank at 4 months old. I believe he has the same condition as your dog because he also is dizzy. My dog's disease is congenital vestibular disease. I personally think its cute. It's not life threatening, so I don't mind..

And my dog prances JUST like Riley!!!! I thought my dog was the ONLY one who does that. Videos of Koda coming soon!

  • Aww that's hilarious. The guy in the background makes it even more funny! xD

  • 00:48 SHIT! did he die?

  • I have a GSD from Westside and soon after I became a foster Mom and have fosterd too many to count. I love meeting people like you to see what "can be." All my best, Shay

  • Pretty prancing boy! I also have two shepherds from Westside German Shepherd Rescue....they are great!

  • aww...he looks like he is doing the passage or piaffe!

  • You want the camera AND the dumbbell?!? I don't think so.

  • What a beautiful shepherd! I've never seen a dog prance like that.

  • LOL, don't listen to Brettjen, total amateur time with that statement. Respect, umm ahh ok so that's why he fell over aye, ROFL. School is your friend-

BTW I got a nice senior GSD from West side, your new boy looks great too. I have two others as well, however the balance issue is odd. Something is causing that, don't ignore it I would get him re-checked again and/or call the rescue back they may have an idea on what is causing that.. Wonderful GSD though..

  • that prancing is so cute! :-). ya i agree with bra5am about the inner ear thing. but he looks a happy enough dog and totally cute:D

  • You know, he might have an ear infection, thats messing with his inner ear... thus making his balance a problem... I have never seen a dog fall over like that...

  • He has been checked out by a vet and he wasn't sure what might cause that other than a possible miscommunication from his brain. He was rescued from the pound just before being put down. It may that he was abused or hit prior to being brought there. Riley doesn't fall down all over the place but he does lose his balance sometimes.

  • Hmmm, I am sure anything is possible, Kudos for you for getting him from the pound. Just bizarre that he takes a spill, keep your eye on it.

  • He was rescued by Westside German Shepherd Rescue and then adopted by me through them.

  • It is obvious he does not respect you!

  • But I've only had him less than 3 weeks, give me a little time. Actually, haven't trained him too much so far. Good dog.

  • Great prancing technique!!!
