  • I have to think it's first class service only. otherwise everyone will ask for it and the sushi chef will be making sushi until the plane land. I'll be on the flight from ICH to JFK soon. Seat 2K. Don't know if they have that onboard or not.

  • Incredible, unbelievable!!!

[is it only on first class?!]

  • The best 2010 airline :) all US airlines should learn from them how to give a good service!!!

  • wow! sushi live on a plane :O

  • Its a excelent idea!!

sushi maker is required many experiences and sensible skill.

that is precious scene and time on bording.

  • What wrong with having sushi on asiana? Dose that mean asiana are not allowed to surve steak or hamburger?

  • Is this 1st class?

  • Heyyy!!!!..YOU just spill the soya souce on my 15.000 dollars italian suit !!!!!

  • holy heaven. I would wish that to be a very long flight with many meals served.

  • 1st class only im guessing? but man what a waste to be on a 13 hour flight to work for like 1 hour.

  • hmmmm...this does place Asiana above the rest.

  • "with sound" what's there to hear? >.>

  • With most of tday's airline cutting back on alot of their stuff and fees all over, asiana's airfare, includes facial, wine on board, they just feed you. no wunder, they are the airline of the yr. good for them.

  • Maybe Sushi in Airplane is not a bad idea coz they cant use flames to cook to order in plane so Sushi is maybe good idea. Dont need stove, just cut fish meat and rice.

  • @BobSeiji

You don't need flames to cook anything....

  • is this first class?

  • Woaw.

That is unheard of in my world.....

  • A Korea-base airlines serving Japanese foods?? Don't you guys find it a little weird??? LOL It is weird indeed! 2 Stars for the video

  • @KatiushaVN4 sushi is a worldwide dish now. Korea is like 20 minutes away from Japan. What's next, Mexican food in Texas!?!

  • @KatiushaVN4 Yeah, it's like eating pasta in u.s.

  • Interesting !

  • Wow, this is amazing!

  • did you get her digits?

  • Why is a Japanese food "sushi" at the in-flight meal of the Korean airplane?

  • Are you saying they should only serve Korean food on a Korean airliner??! LOL

  • Dear All,

I have some question about psychology:

    (1) Why do we enjoy dining on an aeroplane?

    (2) Why do we feel that in-flight meal are so interesting and special?

    (3) How does a tasteful food and drinks make our jounery more enjoyable?

    (4) What do you enjoy to eat at 42000 feets high? (for me, it is a beef steak and ice-cream desert)

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!! :)

    1. Because a plane is a sense of adventure and the food we get on it is neatly packaged like when you are a child. It invokes a sense of being young and going on a great voyage of discovery

    2. See answer to number 1 above

    3. Long haul flights are typically broken up by food, sleep and movies/music. Food - good food - is an interesting "chapter" in a flight.

    4. I enjoy clean, fresh food (can be any) and yes, i agree that ice cream is delicious but have rarely had it in a plane

    :)

  • To: krosfyah

Thank you for your very creative idea. I cannot think of what you are thinking.

  • applesweeter

you are welcome, i also at times don;t know what i am thinking :) My mind is like a child's, often skipping from one thing to the next. I'm 34 by the way LOL!

  • Wow that nigiti looks great! I wish Delta Airlines Business Elite can have that kind of service between SLC-NRT

  • ha that's awesome- im guessing Business class tho :-)

  • flight looks shaky dont be cutting puffer fish up there

  • lol

  • i believe he is cutting fugu but could be mistaken

  • LOL! I don't think so.

  • @aznturtle1 hahah lol

  • brilliant stuff....

  • live sushi making/service... man, asiana is the best!

  • what aircraft was that

  • most probably a B747 or maybe a B777

  • did you every been on asiana airline

  • no i just reckognised the cabin

    :)

  • they always use a 747-400 for OZ 202...ive been on this plane atleast 7 times now

  • I notice that most Airlines of the Orient, like China Eastern, Japan Airlines, ANA or Asiana Airlines, the Cabin crews always wear an apron.

  • I can't wait to see their new first class! (^_^)

  • Sushi making and then the 28 seconds is started turbulence already right after 28 seconds

  • Sushi is great, but what would be even more better would be if Asiana did the same thing (the chef preparing food in front of the passenger) with some simple Korean delicacies, since Asiana Airlines is a Korean airline.

  • It is Asiana airlines. They have good catering!

  • I believe that I have flown Flight OZ202 in 1993, 1996, and 1997. I was a little kid that time.

  • great, nice touch!! Is it asiana airlines?

    How is the catering?

  • 일본 항공에서는 찌라시 초밥을 종종 먹을 수 있는데

일반 비즈니스 클래식에도 가는 했으면 합니다

    아시아나 항공 화이팅!

  • Oh my God, they should put that in Business class, haha .. don't need the chef, just the sushi is fine =)

  • cool Right before the video stops it looks like the flight is starting to really get bumpy
