i bought the same pistol for my wife with a red dot sight!!!! when we first tried the gun we had problems with the extractor the gun would jam a lot .we thought it might be the ammo we tried dif... ammo same problms. i sent it back to beretta & they changed the extractor. my wife abuses the shit out of it the only thing she needs now are more mags!!! very fun gun

Please allow me to point out that it's a weight balancer and not a shroud. It's meant for point of equilibrium and not for aesthetics . And being a .22 LR it should not even be considered as a defensive platform. Nevertheless I do agree it's a "strong looking" profile - but I would not consider it "menacing".

Actually to correct your correction, the people at Beretta have it described as a "sleeve".
Though the barrel weight certainly does contribute to that "look" that I was extolling in the previous post.
And for a 22 plinker the PROFILE does look menacing. The actual gun not so much lol.

Eley, Lapua and Federal all testes ok. Never tested with "plain vanilla bulk".
