I am going to try these Cofra boots, I will be starting work in April. If they suck, you will hear from me :) I have been doing asphalt 20 years and have used many different boots, most of which did not hold up all that great.
Soles melting and boots de-laminating is a huge problem for many work boots worn on asphalt paving jobs. In our experience selling COFRA boots, we have not seen or heard of a single case where the boot falling apart. That doesn't mean it couldn't happen, but we haven't seen a case of this yet with COFRA. I have had the opportunity to inspect boots that have been worn over a year in the field, and am very pleased at how the boots held up.

Did you solve the problem of the adhesive on the sole melting and the boot falling apart? That's the biggest problem.
