i know its not logical but it would be nice to see an f1 race on the Nurburgring Nordschlieffe ik the will never do it but to see those machines on that long of a circuit it would be pretty cool and also the amount of uncertainty for which teams will do well would be cool as well
oh, I'd say it's very logical - its a mindboggling circuit, after all
but, in these days of safety, it'd be impossible to make that track safe enough for racing. there's no way to cut into a mountainside to make run-off areas, without an insane billionare who feels like throwing money into it for the hell of it.
but god, modern F1 on the ring, or Clermont-ferrand? that would be fantastic.
I was there for that race. Beautiful weekend. Beautiful track.
It looks like Nico's engine seized. It's interesting that the tire squeal was so loud from that far away. Must be from how sticky they are. At least he didn't have a long walk back to the paddock. That must just suck so be in an F1 car & have your equipment fail suddenly like that. One moment your focused on turning a good lap time and the upcoming corner, the next your just along for the ride not knowing how it will end.
I was there in '94 en '96 . sitting on the straight after Eu rouge .and the ferrari of sean alesi en berger sounded so sweet. v12 engine.i remember that like yesterday.
monaco is horrible and completely boring to watch. They are only racing there because of the money. But in driving aspects monaco is by far the worst track ever in F1 history.
Correction, whoever gets pole wins in Monaco. Without a doubt it is the worst track on the F1 calender. It's poorly designed and doesn't provide any interesting racing.
I mean I can understand how difficult it must be to design a well rounded street circuit, but look at Marina Bay and Albert Park. They're both street circuits that are just as interesting (if not more interesting) than most permanent circuits.
amazing that u managed to catch this footage is such good quality, most of the videos i've seen of peoples own F1 footage sucks a lot..this is really good
listen to the sound the tyres make when they slide perpedincularly to the direction of spinning!!! can't hear that on live tv! thanks for uploading...

There is a video somewhere on Youtube of Nick Heidfeld driving his BMW Sauber around the Nurburgring Nordschlieffe. It's worth watching
