You're crazy. I thought the food at Ft Sam was awesome. Especially breakfast, with the chorizo, eggs, tortillas. Maybe it's different now, but back in 2004 defac food was the bomb.
You should have been at FT Sam in 1970 if you think it is bad now, you should have tried it back then. Also it looks like you get to sit in booths now, we used to sit a tables. An what your eating now guys back then would have fought over to get that. Any way its nice to see the army has improved some.
Yeah, I thought the food sucked too. Then I got deployed and lived on a fire base for 11 months. Yeah, enjoy the quality Army food while you can, because it only gets worse.

It was pretty awesome food back in 1988 too! Compared to Ft. Bliss Basic Training food anyways. B-232, 1988 Combat Medic (91B)
