It was evidence of the age group of the audience that watched it, my 84 year ods grandmother watched this programme as did my grandfather and all their friends, race had nothing to do with it, Only Men allowed won cos the audience was of the age. its got as much chance of being about race as it has about gender.

i absolutely loved this arrangement. It was pure genius and they really pulled it off a lot better than otehr who tried something similar in the series (Last Minute). They were in tune, which is exceptionally hard when singing like this.

in response to the person that said "all some of them do is the beat", yes some of the members to carry the beat by which laying a foundation for the other layers of the song to sit on top, and also do you look at a band and say the drummer is shot cause all he/she does is keep the beat....i doubt it.

Im sorry thats just my personal opinion...I didn't realise that the basic human right of freedom of speech was not allowed and frequently attacked just because it was youtube.

I said I LIKED this performance, but was just giving my opinion to why the judges didnt save them and why the public didnt vote for them- maybe they just weren't enough of a choir.

Your OPINION is fine and you a very right it would be fine to say "I hated that" or "It wasn't my cup of tea" that would be your right and your opinion. But when you are critising the technicality of the piece that is different. The public didn't vote for them because of the unknown songs that was given to them by the bbc.

They weren't the best the night they left but they were by far not the worst.

The bbc had already picked the winner!

The comment about the choir being a solo was based on the fact that that choir depended specifically on a piano for the verses - everything here is voice, everything that creates what you hear is voice - we're more an alternative choir. I understand the comment completely though - I was concerned initially about receiving the same critique.
