OMG my favorite game - ut99! When it says: MONSTER KILL or KILLING SPREE, it's like sweet music to my ears. Good old days at work and at home, i was so addicted to it - and still I am... :D

Nice video. Somewhat hard to follow cuz it's so fast.

I've had UT99 since 2000 and still play it several times a week. The bots are awesome and make it exciting every time.

I put together a soundpack for the game that added several doom wad yells and screams for the male human bots. It's hilarious. :)

UT99 best FPS (didn't like the later ones, too many changes, didn't feel right). Weapons rule, levels rule, AI bots rule, gameplay rules (fast paced action). Halflife deathmatch was great too, quake 3 was ok. UT99 still best FPS. The look & feel was perfect.

i remember the excellent 'way too ahead' of its times gameplay, and music

even today , many new games cant match up to its realistic graphics

I have to admit, even with loads of mutators to totally customise the gameplay I think UT99 plays way better than UT2K4 & it is much more fun. I still love UT99! It rules, plus due to it being an older game (Wow I can't believe it's almost 10 years old...I remember buying it new!) it will run fast on modern PCs! It's a win-win situation. But as with any UT game, I never play it without mutators. I love customising the gameplay & getting what I want from it. The gibs were way juicier in UT99 ;-)

God I miss this game. I think it's still the best online FPS ever. Just so fast. The degree of control over the character feels perfect.
