  • Ravi Shankar, Lord of the Strings, proves the "Big Twang" Theory-that you're never too old to raag 'n' roll!!

  • My God His Fingers Are Still Damn Nimble For Any Age Let Alone 90........Happy Birthday Ravi..........Cheers!

  • He's prettay prettayyyy pretayyyyyyy good.

  • Epic :|

  • the Jimi Hendrix of the Sitar !!! imagine those two jamming

  • 'MY' God of course did not invent the custom to self-incinerate my wife just because I had to die in the meantime, right? And also He did not teach me to BOW before the COW and so on...maybe sai baba could help you...or some other sri, who knows...this is where my license ends, sorry. No more comments nor disputes with pagans, for now. I already said too much.

  • Guitar is like a grandchild to a Sitar

  • Personally, I do consider his playing to be the very top treatment of strings ever heard or recorded. Primitive religion which demands all those cruel, insane and futile customs is another thing. None of Hindu false deities invented this opportunity called Internet. God himself did it. And maybe some taking bath in muddy waters of Gang would help your mind get clear?

  • @TheChange1961 Oh yes I am sure YOUR God sitting on the clouds invented the internet. Now quit trolling and take a dip and get baptised or get circumcised lest you're cursed to an eternity in hell. :)

  • look at him go man, simply awesome...

  • Ravi Shankar, a ledgend, still going strong at 90!!

  • so energetic even at that age

  • Wow. How can in be so filthy in here when the music is so pure and beautiful?

What in this music could possibly provoke such hate?

  • 90 years old. He's fantastic!

  • It is such a pity that this beautiful man never rejected his primitive Hindu pagan religion and accepted the one and only God. He would live forever. But who knows, maybe it is not too late. The Judgment Day is nigh at hand...

  • thank you Lord Krishna for the blessing of Pt Ravi Shankar and Anoushka Shankar in our lives and for their amazing tour last year

  • obviously to play sitar is a way to stay young - he looks like if he is 75.

  • Captivating I was glued to it 4 awhile there

  • eastern equivalent of robert johnson right here, except alive lol.

  • @willwelsh816 great stuff! thanx

  • That was Tanmoy Bose on the tablas.

  • Pandit Raviji may be 90 chronologically, but physically, mentally and spiritually he is absolutely ageless! I bought a sitar about 2 years ago and both he and his daughter remain my collective inspiration.

  • 90 years old... incredible, what a legend.

  • went to see this with my dad for his 60th

  • This is.. wow
