I'm not Dutch (I'm English), but it's great to see a Dutch artist getting the recognition she deserves, throughout the world. I wonder why she decided to sing in English? I love the Jazz / Swing, the whole band, her voice and the DJ scratching.

@triggerdance No, that is of no language I presume, just to make it jazzy, like a doo-wah-doo for instance. ;-)

@triggerdance It's called "scat" singing, a common jazz vocal technique. Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong do a lot of it. Those are not words, but every vocalist have a different scatting style. Since scatting is improv, for a good jazz vocalist no two performances are alike. So Caro is a bit too scripted here. But that's how Europeans do jazz - with very little improv.
