  • Absolutely amazing! Star Trek has a crossover with Starsky and Hutch as wwwell as the Dukes of Hazard!

  • Yeah,I could see MANY times-

    "Scotty!

    Beam me up...

    NOW!"

  • Holy crap!!!

  • fake

  • Cheeky but very cool

  • Cool!

  • Funky!

  • You had me fooled from beginning to end! Nice job!

  • Wow... I was pretty sure it was real, until I saw the comments... That and Spock doesn't have pointy ears! :D But seriously, they did make a Star Trek in 1973. It apperently had only two seasons... Or one and a half, however you wanna look at it. Just found out and decided to look it up, finding this video first. Nice job! Now I shall return to looking up the real show... And hoping it's this awsome... ;)

  • @Whooligan866 Argh! :D I have officaly realized what IMDB wasn't telling me... It's an animated series. Oh well, same actors. :) Thought I'd put that in though, so as not to get everyone excited too much!

  • OMG! Vintage 73’ retro KIRK AND SPOCK! LOL 1:24 where did you get that hat?

  • damm this show wouldnt made it damm u NBC!!!

  • What a shame it did not happen! We could have had more legendary videos to enjoy. Thank you so much for giving us this information.

  • That wife-beater on 2:31 HA!

    Love the Shat!

  • @Conie Max

It seems my info was wrong about it being Barry gray (the album I got it from said it was!)

It's apparently Brian Dee, and is available on the album SHUT IT!, and the track is called 'Funko'

  • interesting. The irony, was , that Shatner did it anyway, with T.J. Hooker in the later years.

  • Heh. Hehehe. Hahaha, Har, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • If not for the 1979 Star Trek: The Motion Picture scenes, I could have almost been convinced!

    Great Job!

  • Would violate the Prime Directive and besides Space 1999 SUCKED BIG TIME!

  • The music was from the "Space:1999" soundtrack. Shame on thee!

  • Good Job!

  • absolute sillyness- FAVORITED!!!

  • Very cool project that you did there!!

  • man with the golden gun

  • you should have used some footage from "Prey for the Wildcats" (1973) though, shatner wears a yellow trek-like uniform while riding a motorcycle

  • I like this Song! XD

  • You had me for a second..horsecrap!

  • Life on Mars: with Kirk and Spock.

  • HILARIOUS!! Especially the groovy music (not to mention kirks mod clothes LOL)

  • Damn, i wish they had made this. Well done :)

  • Fuck, you almost had me going there! & Space 1999/U.F.O. at the end.

  • the opening titles are one thing (among a few) that give this away. it's damn-near impossible to make "aged" titles that blend in with the film convincingly.

  • Quentin Tarantino should do this.

    Great work.

  • It would wind up a tarintino remake of ST IV blended with pulp fiction. Entertaining to be sure, but rather pointless.

  • True, it would be so bad ass though!

  • Just imagine Uhura and kirk twisting at jack rabbit slims, or spock and mccoy going out on a hit.

  • Oh yeah. 1970s McCoy would rock, and Uhura in Foxy Brown mode? That would be huge.

  • Too good. They SHOULD have made this...LOL Love your work

  • Thank you very much

    *blushes*

  • Let's be honest here. How hard could it be since Nimoy did make a similar thing (pilot of him being a detective)?

  • Nice idea. :)

  • Never mind Joe. RTFC (Read The F Comments); I remember now. Shat'd flip if he heard the "Space 1999" theme over this video clip. But I actually thought it was the original music. Oh and at 1:01 is Shat shown keeping his hoes skrate?

  • Joe did you add the music and titles? Or were they part of the original clip? That music is sumthin' else!

  • Yeah! 2:30! That outfit hits everything! Great vid!

  • I bet he has a bumper sticker that reads "My other car is the Enterprise" :)

  • love the striped singlet and red pants, lol, what Kirk wore, would have scared the pants off the Klingons.

  • spock doesn't have pointy ears though!

  • fookin' A ;)

  • You just made my evening....awesome!

  • 2 awesome 2B true. It was an obvious mistake to give up on the startrek TV franchise in the 70's and 80's. But I refure to believe that TJ Hooker could have been this awesome.

Those Jews in Hollywood just don't have this kind of vision.

(Sorry for the racist undertones, but it's true.)

  • oh the pain...of that black and white striped tank top and red pants thing...The Shat in that get up looks like Richard Simmons on 'roids.

Crap, now I have a really ugly image in my head.

  • Wear that black and white striped tank top and red pants today, he would be classified as a "fashion designer"

  • Haha, that's ace! Very well done. I reckon some of the car chase sequences are from a 70's movie called 'Speedtrap'...am I right?

  • Indeed... good spot

  • Haha, funny. Nice mashup.

  • Very clever! You actually had me for the first minute. TJ Hooker? Heh.

    Nice, very nice!

  • I can't believe how badly Shatner dressed in the 70's LOL How ugly 70's fashion was!! At least Nimoy looked fashionable. This is a great piece of work--so funny and funky (there's a 70's word for you lol)<:')

  • hey!!

  • Inspired!

    Dig the hair.

  • nice one !

brilliant music who is it ?

  • Its some incidental music from Space 1999!

    Its fab innit

  • The exact same song was released as "Funko" by the Saint Orchestra (actually Steve Grey) as the b-side to the "Return Of The Saint" theme music 7". Great tune!

  • Thats intertesting. I wasn't aware of that.

The version I used was called 'Deaths Other Domain' by Barry Gray.

It's on a CD of Space 1999 music a friend found for me.

  • @JoeScaramanga cant find that track anywhere man - was going through the track listing on amazon and couldnt see it on the yr 1 or 2 cd. Maybe different versions released in diff areas?

  • The exact same song was released on 7" as "Funko" on the b-side to the "Return Of The Saint" theme by the Saint Orchestra (Steve Gray).

  • hey!!

  • hey!!
