To fix the dipping start with your chin on your font shoulder when ur swing is done your chin should be on ur back shoulder or you are dipping concentrate on doin that
when they say your're dipping too much it would mean that one side of your shoulder is going down (if your right handed then your right shoulder. if left handed then your left shoulder) when you swing which causes you to scoop at the pitches. keeping your shoulders straight is important so you can get good solid contact on the ball. I only know this because i had the same problem as you before.
try and dip your front side of your shoulder down so that your back side of the shoulder is elevated but don't over exaggerate it. It would feel awkward at first but when my coach told me to do it i was hitting solid line drives and went 5-6 in double headers
lol thats still good. im not a baseball coach so i obviously do not have the best solutions to fix your batting stances or swings. just ask your own coach on how to improve not to dip your shoulders, but that technique was told by my coach and it worked fine for me.
Hold your bat all the way back i had that same proplem focus when your practicing when your doing it. Dont sit at home and do nothing about it. Pick up a bat, go outside and practice and ask your teammates how you are progressing
Thanks! This video really helps.
