  • Love is real real is love. I don't know love only what I feel for my lady and son. For me hate is real real is hate. Bless you Ms. Ono.

  • I don't mind listening to Yoko talk, but I can't stand her singing and weird experimental screeching/screaming.

  • I respect Yoko, in the way she observes society, and she expresses herself very well. Wonderful woman.

  • i cant believe i have lived longer than john lennon did...

  • Its nice having a dialogue between the two sexes... Lennon worshipped the Devil... in my belief... So are they saying the Devil too has a paradise? It is nice having a dialogu(soulEXchange_ SEX... And the Church HCRUHC... CROOKS! Condemn it... But not in a MALE dominated way... It would have to be purely balanced... if it is a paradise state of mind... That's wild stuff.

  • Neil Fraudstrong rocks!!!

  • @helterskelter1

That guy is a total hack. He's a total fraud. A strong fraud.

  • rip jonh your music was cool and help us all

  • this was right around now 3:40pm est 31 years ago R>I>P John

  • DAMMIT! John loved Yoko, and that's all that matters. It doesn't really matter if she split up the Beatles or not, it just matters that she completed him, and he completed her. John even admitted that they started to grow musical differences, then it was just time for them to grow apart. So next time, actually do some research before you open your mouth. :)

  • @thecookie445

I have never, not once, claimed that Yoko is/was the reason for The Beatles breaking up. She didn't help, but Brian's death (to me) was the beginning of the end and Paul tried to be the leader and carry on which the others resented him for.

  • @thecookie445 Right on man!

  • @thecookie445

    FINALLY SOMEONE GET'S IT!!

We all know she didn't split up the Beatles, and for people to say that without doing the research, is so unfair to both John and Yoko's relationship. John speaks many times about how he met and played with Paul since he was 15 years old...the Beatles happened..they couldn't go any farther musically..and they went their separate ways..as far as Yoko leading John around by the nose, he's addressed that also

  • @Goodwith2005 CONTINUED.....they had a love that endured even through the loss of her mate, she still works hard at keeping a positive image, considering what the public has put her through. In my mind and heart the minute he chose her, I respected his choice because I loved and respected him...CASE CLOSED

  • Forget their personal lives, Musically she fucked up the Beatles, have you ever heard her sing?

  • @sikemanders, Yeah she can't sing. She didn't fuck up the Beatles though. I'll change my mind if you can give me an example.

  • I tought this is suposed to be Lennons interview right?? Because i only hear Yoko o.o

  • In my eyes John Lennon loved Yoko but i guess she in a way manipulated Lennon's head

  • its easy to jump on that Yoko Bandwagon, so Im not going to and advised others to do the same..

  • damn that picture is sexy

  • John and Yoko called what they had together "love", I think it was an unhealthy co - dependence. I don't think they would have stayed together for much longer if he had lived and got healthier.

  • @linpry I think so, too. I think that John was pissed a lot of times because of Yoko. I don't want to say that he loved her, but to me it was no real love. It was really something like dependence.

  • the perfect cure for insomnia

  • What's with the hatred of Yoko? She was his wife, his soul mate, the mother of his child. If you ever respected John you'd respect Yoko too.

As for blaming Yoko for the Beatles splitting up, it's nonsense. He first met her in 1966. If anything she was his rock. The Beatles struggled to keep it together after Brian Epstein died. If not for the women in their lives keeping them grounded I think they'd have split up a lot sooner. So enough of the hating on Yoko for no reason.

  • @Missundaztood91

I don't mean for this to sound rude, but ease up on the Ballad of John and Yoko Kool-Aid. The way things are told are not necessarily the way things were or the way things happened. Trust me on this.

  • @Missundaztood91 Because when John died, Yoko gave NO money to Julian or Cynthia. Julian had to fight, tooth and nail, to win back a percentage of the Lennon fortune. Julian and Cynthia were abandoned. Yoko acted as though she was John's first and only family, when that was far from the truth. She gave no money to Julian. Yoko was only FORCED to hand over money because she realised that her bad rap was getting worse. How you can even start to like this woman is beyond me.

  • @Missundaztood91 agree with you completely!

  • @Missundaztood91 She may have been his rock but no-one gives a rats ass what she has to say. People wanted to hear John NOT her and she always was always yapping on and butting in.

Look up "Annoying Yoko during Beatles rehearsal" on youtube, that will explain a lot. Of course she didn't break up the Beatles but that didn't make her any less of an annoying.

I loved the Bealtes but John was insecure a hell and needed a mommy and Yoko filled that roll.

  • @Missundaztood91 That's so stupid! John Lennon and Yoko admited in an interview that it was because of her Beatles splitted up. But in the late interview with Yoko (When Johns dead) she lies and says that it wasent because of her. On Dick Cavett show, not quite sure of the year tho... 1971 or something!

  • @Missundaztood91 Don't forget that Cynthia was his first wife AND the mother of his first son. Everyone forgets that there was a life before Yoko.

  • @SgtOBrien I don't think anyone has forgotten that...does that mean he shouldn't move forward and have a life?

  • @Missundaztood91 ive been saying that for years and i thought i was the only one who felt that way

  • Lennon's psyche was like a raging fire that consumed itself. Throughout the late sixties and early seventies it was as if he, among others, held a divining rod for the collective unconscious. When he retreated into quiet domesticity for 5 years he returned a different man. Artistically he was moving into easy listening territory with Double Fantasy. Punk had been and gone and he was out of touch, but still vaguely interesting.

  • boring.

  • @Atomicflash500

No one is forcing you to watch.

  • Listen, Yoko is not the cause. John fell in love with her, and good for them. John was always an angry man, chip on his shoulder since day one. I think between that and Paul;s Ego it was just a matter of time before the beatles imploded.

  • ATTENTION ALL JOHN LENNON FANS

On October 9th we will all watch "Imagine" in honor of the greatest singer ever's birthday. Let's give him the best birthday present ever: the highest viewed video on YouTube!! Let's give him what he deserves and what Justin Bieber does not deserve to have!

Copy and paste to all John lennon/beatles videos and all music videos let's get this noticed quickly!

    THUMBS THIS UP

    LET'S GET THIS NOTICED

    for John lennon

  • Did Yoko love John, or was she an obscure artist that needed to be noticed and pimped herself around sixties london until one of the big musical fishes took the bait? Lucky for Jagger, Richards, McCartney and Clapton that they weren't the slightest bit interested. For the Yoko fans, heres some facts, john was happiest in the 70's when he spent two years in LA seeing old friends (Paul,Ringo,George,Moon,Nielsen) and then caring for sean as this meant he didn't have to spend as much time with yoko.

  • I don't like yko because she treated Julian and Cyn so badly she hsd no empathy for them. My feelings about her loving John are mixed

  • so hard to get ya head around that at that time the next day he was gone

  • Yoko Ono was a dominant witch bitch who was JEALOUS of The Beatles! She used to sit on top of their amps in the studio and try and tell them how to play their music! And she made damn sure of two things: the room wasn't big enough for Yoko and The Beatles,so she made sure to drive a wedge in between John and Paul so she could have John to dominate and control! She made sure The Beatles broke up and then made sure they NEVER got back together! Chapman shot the wrong one!

  • How is it that those that claim they love John Lennon and his music are the complete opposite of what he was about?

  • @NeilFraudstrong The world would be a better place if you just sucked my balls :) Please... I mean you want to I want you to it's a win win situation :)

  • @JamaicanTeeth

    Sorry, not interested.

  • @JamaicanTeeth

    How would that work anyway?

would you meet halfway at a hotel?

would you have him over 'round your place?

    would you pay for transportation?

would it be worth it all just to get your balls sucked..?

why not get somone locally to do it, and pretend it's him?

better yet get a girl to do it, you'll thank me for this advice one day.

  • @DeanMartin1231 Thank you so much for your advice... I was being a little naive wasn't I?

  • @MisterNP

Actually there was no sarcasm intended in that particular part of the description. I was being serious.

  • All you people who are Yoko-haters...screw you. She didn't break up the Beatles, and its wrong to persecute her because she and John really loved each other.

  • @Thundermonkeyms

No one said she did. But the ballad of John and Yoko was a myth. Fact.

  • I like how Yoko was saying "Y'know" as frequently as John did.

  • With all due respect to Yoko, who I know was a very important person in her own right before she ever met John, the name of this youtube should be changed. It's not an interview with John Lennon.

  • @saturn11

Reading the description is a great way to find out what/who is in the video.

  • @saturn11 she was important how by her own right NO she was not & WHY AFTER LIVING IN WESTERN Countries for almost 50yrs she still is talking in bloody broken english THOUGHT this was an interview of JOHN ohhhhhhhhhh that,s right IT,S ALL ABOUT HER always has been always will be SHE didn,t love JOHN I don,t even think she loves her SON always ono in the spotlight regardless of anybody else,s feelings SHE is heartless PERIOD

  • @LVEMEDO First, you have no idea whether or not she loved John, and having never met her or had experiences with her, you're in no place to call her heartless. Regarding her stature before she met John, from the mid 1950s on, she counted none other than LaMonte Young, George Maciunas, and John Cage among her most ardent exponents. She was also a leading member of the Fluxus artist's collective. If you know what these mean, stomp on the ground once. If not, stomp twice.

  • @saturn11 I HAVE MET her you moron she is what she is COLD

  • @LVEMEDO Ahh yes, lies and name calling, the last refuges of the defeated. Oh, and I see you've decided to abandon the part about her not being important before she met John. Good for you!

  • @LVEMEDO ... u should watch video(s) by Mae Pang. Her book, Instantmatic Karma i think it's called... i don't have it in front of me. My opinion is that He (John) really was in love with her. McCartney has the same view. Some how Yoko lured him back in '75. When Sean was on the way, John wouldn't leave Yoko because of what happened w/ Julian and himself. Sad really.

  • @FlyingDeuceMan TY I will and I agree with you 100%

  • @LVEMEDO you are very welcome. Nice to have someone agree w/ me for a change.

  • Yoko Ono sounds like a complete lunatic. She's just making up a bunch of crap that has no meaning and is not in reality.

  • @larrymyclown

Just like her take on John's life!

This may be sudden, but will you be my apprentice?

  • :)

  • Where is this audio from?

  • how can anyone hear this and doubt that Yoko Ono is a sane, nice and intelligent

  • gender/ideological feminism, staring in the 80s, made the dialogue between men and women worse than it EVER was before and continues to this day. She sounds so full of shit here. Beautiful my left foot. and the biased cant she spouts is just annoying. "And every man I'm sure has a good reason to do that! hmph hmph hmph" shut up, like you're so sure about every man, fucking stupid. I normally don't mind her so much, but when she goes on about this crap she becomes really fucking irratating.

  • MDC if you're reading this in jail, we love you son and we're glad to hear your attorney is close to securing your release. Won't say much here, but stay strong. You're a good boy and have always been like a son to me. Especially when you killed John. we just don't understand why you didn't beat yoko with your pistol. BASHOUT HER TEETH You know we're all proud of you. Be strong, proud and keep writing. the guys yesterday said the 8th chptr on buying the gun was killer! No pun intended!

  • @PigLover666 Your comments are being directed to the FBI.

  • @TheKingkester I think you need to post that a few more times.

  • @PigLover666

    Please, don't encourage them. Ha.

  • @PigLover666 Your comments are being directed to the FBI.

  • @PigLover666 Your comments are being reported to the FBI

  • @PigLover666 Your comments are being reported to the FBI

  • @PigLover666 You are being reported to the FBI.

  • @PigLover666 You are being reported to the FBI.

  • @PigLover666 You are being reported to the FBI for making threats.

  • @TheKingkester Um... I don't see where the threat exists in that post. Here's a news alert, MDC shot John Lennon in 1980. On my calendar that event happened IN THE PAST. That means it already happened, thus, a threat would have had to occur prior to the shooting at the Dakota. Also, you might not have noticed that the word "killed" is also in the PAST TENSE. Generally a threat is something you say you will intend to do to someone at some future point. English 101. Class dismissed.

  • @PigLover666 Are you serious? Please say your kidding.

  • @shawn8093 No... just fucking with these guys. People get SO riled up when you say anything bad about John Lennon. I couldn't help myself at first.. I was high and it got out of hand though.

  • i love john and yoko

  • Im sorry guys, you have your Own Opinions some of us Like her some of us Don't , i have my Own im just saying as much as I LoveJohn! i think i would never like Yoko i don't hate her i just, i would never like her....so don't fight over others opion.....

  • You can hate her, but she's smart.

  • @jin256 , so was hitler!

  • @DuaneMThomas

    LOL. Great comment!!

  • @jin256 smart how? judging by what she's saying, esp about men and women, she doesn't very smart at all.

  • I dont care if you think that yoko sucks, because the love that john lennon had for that woman was greater than any love most people never get to feel, and THAT is something to celebrate.

  • I thought johns last interview was with rolling stone-am i wrong?

  • @IamAsi94

Yes, you are, but that's okay because many people have mentioned this to me before. This is the absolute last interview John ever gave, it was given just hours before he was murdered. The second to last interview he ever gave took place on December 6th which was the previous Saturday (this interview occurred on a Monday). I can't remember right off the top of my head when his 1980 interview was, but it was not the last one. This is the last interview John ever gave.

  • Hey, we can't please everyone. John was somewhat of an a-hole and Oko was Oko, but we all loved the Beatles and they gave much more on the positive side than the negative. So take the good with the bad, it's called life!

  • Read Neil's comments (under the picture) about John not appearing in this interview until PART 4 minute 3:20. The first 30 min or so, he says, is ALL Yoko.Only slightly misleading to read the banner that it is John Lennon's interview (not solely).

  • Yes, you can relax ;-) Even without the description, I totally understand your intent, and that was obviously to post John Lennon's final interview in its entirety. In 30 years I have never heard the post-interview snippets where he's trying to sign the poster and the pen isn't working, and one of the RKO crew bought a wind-up toy for Sean. The sound quality is great, and it just puts you in that place and time and makes you want to reach out and grab him and say, "John; don't go ..."

  • It IS John's final interview with RKO, and as John was late due to the photo session running over, Yoko obviousy met with the radio team at the scheduled time to get the ball rolling. John apologizes for being late. It's all a part of history. It's a part of what happened that fateful day. I love the fact it's been posted unedited. And let's face it, RKO were interviewing John AND Yoko because they'd just released Double Fantasy. Thank you Neil for posting this.

  • @Bularoos

READ. THE. VIDEO. DESCRIPTION. MY GOD. CHRIST.

Oh wait, force of habit there. Thanks for this great comment. It's pretty well known around YouTube that I am not a fan of Yoko Ono. I admit, I have a bias, but one of the reasons I put this up is because I want to provide as unfiltered a view of John's life as possible. A lot of what she goes into here is referenced later in the interview. Thanks for the great comment and seeing my intent here.

  • @NeilFraudstrong , you're no fan of Yoko's? Oh my Neil, was it maybe because she was a self promoting talentless cunt? Or was it maybe something else that nobody's aware of ?

  • @DuaneMThomas

Well, it's mostly because she buys people to tell lies about her relationship with John and she rewrites the history of that man and she distorts the truth. But other than that, I am sure she's an alright person.

  • Yoko is a part of him.

    its an interview about John.

    get over it.....

  • Yoko... I don't get her... at all...

  • Yoko... I gon't get her... at all...

  • Its makes me sick to think of all the great music he still had to offer and some fucking freak ruined it.

  • i think you meant to call it a yoko ono interview!!!!!

    how disappointing!

  • @itgirlx1

Do not even go there. So help me god.

  • i think you mean to call it a yoko ono interview!!!!!

    how disappointing!

  • i agree with one of our dj's in philly, the guy that murdered john lennon doesn't deserve to even have his name mentioned. i was just about to turn 7 when he died so i don't have any first-hand memories of the day it happened, but i don't think it was a generational thing or anything like that. john lennon wasn't perfect but his ideas of how society should be are something that people should've listened to. 30 years later, it appears nobody was listening that could make a difference

  • @bleep77

Mark David Chapman should have been aborted by his mother.

  • Lol, if you don't want to hear Yoko, skip ahead.

  • What the....... John Lennon doesn't even come on until Part Four!!!!!!!!!

  • @Monkofmagnesia

    Hey, that's right.

  • @Monkofmagnesia

    Can't you read?

  • Please change your wording, "Since no one cares about Yoko..." because many of us DO care about Yoko and what she has to say. I think if you really wanna honor John and who he was you will change your wording. Thank you!! Peace & <3

  • @heartofmotherearth , you make a truly valid point. In an interview recently, I inadvertently referred to Ono as an old, worthless, talentless, manipulative, evil bitch. However, upon some genuine & sincere reflective thought, I must admit I overstepped my bounds. Yoko's really not that old!

  • @DuaneMThomas

Dude. You are killing me today. Keep it up! I am loving these comments.

  • Hey All....Google this: Was John Lennon's murderer Mark Chapman a CIA hitman? Thirty years on, there's an extraordinary new theory

  • @Monkofmagnesia thank you for the heads up! i will skip to part 4!

  • This woman is phenomenal!

  • @vmtz2001 how? by the completely blingsighted, biased and one sighted view she gives on gender relations or the laughably wrong prediction she makes about a new dialogue between men and women and the beautiful future to come? get fucking real

  • Yoko, annoying, unattractive and now very wealthy

  • Oh, no, it's Yoko.

I try not to dislike her (I mean if Lennon liked her, that should be good enough for me), but I just can't help asking, "now who are you again?"

  • i remember the original broadcast back in 1980, it was great to listen to it again a fantastic insight into john and yoko. the best way to learn about people is to listen to them, i am very great-full to the bbc for doing this interview,we get lots of hear say now, that can not be proved. john and yoko say all we need to know.

john loved yoko and yoko loved john that can not be changed by bad mouthing them, by insulting yoko you are insulting john, show a little respect.

  • @Muzopia

The BBC did not conduct this interview. It was conducted by RKO. The BBC did conduct John's second to last interview though. That was conducted by Andy Peebles on December 6th, 1980.

  • @NeilFraudstrong i apologise, thank you to RKO, the andy peebles interview was broadcast on the bbc in england and that is the part i refer too.

thank you Neil for clearing that up.

  • @NeilFraudstrong

This is the BEST interview, the BBC one.

  • @314sps

The BBC did not conduct this interview. It was conducted by RKO Radio. The BBC interview was on December 6th.

  • @Muzopia Thanks for some sane thought, and nice Woody Guthrie quote in there "the best way to get to knowing any bunch of people is to go and listen to their music,(or them)".Cheers

  • Wow.... I thought this was supposed to be an interview with John Lennon and instead I get 10 minutes of Yoko Ono droning on and on.... I guess John comes on in part two?

  • Oh ok I didn't expand/read the description, my fault....

  • Yoko has enough nerve to talk about woman's liberation & how socially acceptable it has become in 1980? Meanwhile Yoko would have had nothing if she was not married & had a baby by John Lennon. She played her cards right & made her fortune only by marrage. So much for woman's lib? Now women has to make the money & the men? Mr. moms! :P

  • The one thing I'm wondering,Mark David Chapman wanted his autograph as a fan but what was his motivation, was he jealous that he wasn't a big time singer like Lennon was? I guess he couldn't be kind enough to just walk away from John and say Thank You,It's been a pleasure talking to you.

  • @howardtheman yeah. It was a bit unkind not to mention ungrateful to shoot John down when he'd given scuzzbag his autograph. The motives are well known though. He though Lennon was a phoney like the charactter Holden Caulfield thought people in the book The catcher in the rye were phoneies.

  • I care about Yoko, piss off. But thanks for posting.

  • thank god that wierd hippie was short dead, otherwise besides smoking crack there would be nothing left in this world

  • @iughreuigh lol fuck you must be dumb as a post

  • Fuck Koko Bobo!

  • Respond to this video... john lennon is a god! if there was a religion devoted to the beatles and them as soloists i would join.

...wait, i think there is! wen was jl's birthday?

  • Jeez! How the hell did he spend his life listening to all this bullshit. I hate intellectualism.

  • @Stube437 that's ok. I hate idiocy

  • Oh I can read...John Lennon - The Last Interview, 12/8/1980 Part 1

Another vampire gettin' theirs from the carcus of Lennon...

  • @chancesareshewears

    Learn to read.

  • @chancesareshewears Noob...

  • @chancesareshewears Yeah makes you wish he would of stayed with Cynthia!!! I'm tired of hearing Yoko's bullshit!!!!!! Worse thing that ever happened to John!!!!!!

  • @ironcitydevildog Yoko talks shite.

  • it's so sad that such genius people like this one die young and bad people tend to live forever...

  • John was such a genius. He didn't deserve to die after all the music he wrote. Also, He only had one affair with May Pang after Yoko set them up, when things between them weren't going so well. At the end of the day John was a sweet, genius man, even though he, like all of us, had his faults.

  • It's a bummer hearing some one be so optimistic 30 years ago. No real dialogue ever happened. History moved in the opposite direction of their expectations.

  • john lennon was basically the henry VIII of music. yoko takes the reins because that wasn't john. he hated interviews. he didn't know what to say. he got himself in trouble with the bigger than jesus.statment, he probably knows its ridiculous the whole showbiz thing

  • @ThePoorhillbilly

    Fun fact:

I have first hand information from someone who was present for the interview which was:

They never ever got John alone, Yoko was present at all times. No bathroom breaks, no sidechat, nothing. The entire time John was talking, Yoko remained still while looking directly at John's face. Control freak ahoy.

  • john lennon was basically the henry VIII of music

  • john for president

  • i love yoko.....

  • Someone tape over Yoko's mouth. She was a pointless twaddle machine.

  • I keep wanting to scream UR HUSBANDS GOIN TO BE MURDERED! It makes me so sad to kno tht she has no idea wat is about to come. :(

  • Taken from us by an evil man who`s name will never be mentioned by me. Lennon, Kennedy`s, King" people who were murdered because they were a threat to the war business. Skull and bone cowards. John we loved you in a deep way. Not a celeb obsessed way but for your humanity. Hell we just dug you.

  • why didn't chapman hit her instead?

  • Good god, why must we always endure YOKO ONO in order to get John Lennon? Lord knows we never signed up for this horrible person. We were more or less forced to tolerate her when John was alive, but now that he's gone, can't we stop this vulgarity? Isn't there any way we can electronically remove this cunt from all video and audio tape?

  • @thegrinchl7

If you really loved John, you would respect the fact that he and Yoko were in love and that she made him happy.

  • wait this was the day he died, right?

  • @jrcsgtpeppers

    Yes ):

  • @JungleJesx knowing that makes this almost unlistenable

knowing hes gonna finish up, get his stuff and walk out side and die...

  • @jrcsgtpeppers

Actually, he didn't die directly after this. However, knowing that it's the day of makes me crushed :/

  • Fact is that their relationship was extremely unstable, unconventional and oftentimes nonexistent. Towards the end, they barely spoke, aside from when they working on a project together. She capitalized on his insecurities and used his status as a platform to promote her own naive philosophies and agendas. She just perpetuates the myth. Why not talk about May Pang and the fact that she hooked them up together in order to control John's affairs? She'd have had him neutered if she could

  • @ritter89

You should reply to your own comment with:

'Hi! I am a voice of reason!"

    Great comment!

  • LilChucky.....(boy what a well conceived name!) where did you get it from a Lil'' rapper.Let me say you are neither educated in history or in John Lennon's personality at all. Fortune certainly smiled on us to hear your thought provoking assessment of someone you know so little about. Do us all a favor and shut your mouth, until you know the facts.

  • Lennon was quite a song writer.......... But not all that much of a person. Face it O.J. was a great footballer but ....... Don't be misled because anyone excells at one level in their life into thinking they add up to more than that .

  • @LilChuckyWoodenHead

I do think that John was ultimately a good person, but our opinions differ. However, you make an excellent point. Most people find it hard to separate a man or woman from their craft. It's like people find it contradictory to put O.J. Simpson on your 1970's all decade NFL team and believe he's guilty of double murder. Sure, he's a murderer, but he was also a hell of a football player and to deny that is foolish. Like John. Great songwriter, bad person? You decide.

  • @NeilFraudstrong Get real... Lennon WAS Talented....BUT he was an arrogant dope head who thought societies rules did not apply to him cause he was "Special" It looks to me that often time he was unkept and dirty. He was not mentally stable and caused a lot of trouble and embassesment to his family members and would even attack and ridicule his own fans. Lennon may have been a lot of things but a "GOOD PERSON" was not amoung them.

  • @LilChuckyWoodenHead Plenty of artists ridicule their fans. Especially considering the excessive adoration of many Beatles fans, I'd say Lennon was justified in that. Look at the old videos of young girls screaming and going nuts.

"He was unkempt and dirty" Who cares and also this has nothing to do with being a 'bad person'.

You say he embarrassed some members of his family...Oh well, the millions of people who enjoyed his music and were moved emotionally balance that out and then some.
