I relize this question might create a hate fest, but exactly what has Obama done that would make republicans dislike him so? It's because everyone owns a cell phone, ipod, computer, flat screen TV etc. that we're in a recession. The debt that so many had racked up on their credit cards finally came around and bit them, and others, in the butt.

Actually, it was because of an overextension of the housing market and subprime lending done by banks. Lots of people own an ipod, computer, flat screen, etc. and don't dip into their credit cards significantly to pay for them.

I know, I know. Either way, people either weren't smart enough to read and comprehend the fine print, or took out loans they obviously couldn't afford. I understand, many who made the right choices, were just swept up by the recession, and I agree, banks were far from responsible and actions need to be taken to change that. But people, too, have overextended themselves.

Most progressives and liberals. That same argument can be used to conservatives that watch FOX. Doesn't change the fact that MSNBC is to FOX as left is to right. The problem is, progressives and liberals seem to have some major malfunction when they see the opposing side aired on FOX. Keep in mind CNN is slightly left of center, so the scale is left of center in terms of national media. I guess it's just the fact that FOX's ratings are always at the top? Could be, or they're just hypocritical.
