Alexandra performs and has spunk on stage, whereas Lisa just hangs about like a lifeless bag of spuds.

Not to mention Alexandra is a FAR better singer than Lisa... you can't even compare them. Lisa just sounds like any girl who walked in from the street and was actually way off with a lot of the notes... nothing special about her at all.

Having said that, I much prefer the darker, more soulfull voice of Lisa- to me Alexa's voice sounds just the same like so many other female singers, including the vibrating/piching voices. It's irrelevant where people are from, talent can come from anywhere but British acts accounted for 5 of the 7 world top selling albums in 2008 so I don't think being American would help her. They're not chauvinistic in the US since the majority of great singers of all time were American women... even in the 30s - 70s, which yes I have looked at and they were true performing artists and divas.

Alexandra is currently recording with Diddy, Akon, Pharell Williams, Stargate, Freemasons, RedOne and Soulshock & Karlin. She will support Beyonce on the last leg of her tour. What's Lisa upto?

Well, you got me on that one! AFAIK, she's currently just enjoying the fact that she won. Doing lot's of performances in Holland, both very small and some big(ger) ones, including The Toppers (which isnt my cup of tea, to put it mildly, but they are HUGE over here, and one of them was her mentor, so I guess that's all in the contract). I do hope she won't go that way -not meant to disrespect, but she should go on another path-> more jazzy/soulful, not hiphop

Well, let's put it this way then. I actually dislike these programs very much. In fact, I only heard Lisa, AFTER she had won the show and someone else made me see her. So now have Alexandra, we have Lisa (BTW, and Hind->she didn't win, but was definitely the best of the 1st Idols here, check her out as well! Have to say there isn't too many good stuff available). I would say that's a much better result then expected, especially with the auditions in mind... ;-)
