Sucker MC's was originally on a 12 inch with "It's Like That" if I remember right...I don't think instrumentals were extremely common back then...a few years later into the 80's they became more commonly seen but back in 1983 many hip hop records didnt have instrumentals.,..it'd be up to Def Jam to release an official one now, and that ain't likely

I stand corrected, in that there was an instrumental to "It's Like That"...other instrumentals from that time would be Planet Rock and also Whodini 5 minutes of funk, which was heard often. However, that doesnt mean there was ever an official instrumental to Sucker MC's. to be truthful, this track was created with an 808...anyone with an original 808 and a reverb unit could recreate this beat...it was what Run DMC did with this minimal beat that made this a classic
