@keepNitloud yeah mine is the same way. our cars have the same interiors. What you have to do is take out the rear seats. Then you will have about 14" of clearence. Than if you want to get anything taller than that in there you have to cut and bend up the metal. Watch my newer video. I got an even bigger box in there now.

Hey do you happen to know the best cabin frequency response(wrong term im pretty sure but i think youll be able to get the gist of it) these stangs have? Im thinking about changing out my solo classics for maybe a ported setup not sure yet though since I listen to both rap and rock. Great looking system though good job on the stang. are you planning on plugging those holes up though? i wanted to go spoilerless but the holes bothered me too much.

@ExplicitYourSelf yes my single 12" Fi Q was louder than my brothers single 12" Type-R. I have vids of both. Not too much, but it did sound better too.

@ExplicitYourSelf dude the type r can only take up to 700rms this one fi q is rated at 1000rms non loaded fully louded can take way more one 12 type r vs one 12" fi q the type r would be put to shame not even a sec into plus the fi has way better sq and spl then alpine dose as well

@whatmh5 i do yeah. I pretty much blew the Q because it just wasn't loud enough for me. The Type-R's are much louder and they actually hit even lower too. But the Q definitely did sound better but i still think the R's sound good and they're much louder. I'm definitely alot happier with the R's.

Definitely enough power. I actually blew this sub with that amp. I was an idiot though, i had the gain turned up to high. So if you're smart, it will handle it fine.

actually the whole trunk is deadened with Second Skin Damplifier Pro. There's a layer on the floor of the trunk and all the walls. And then there's 2 layers on the trunklid. The rattle really isn't that terrible. I've seen much worse.

i know what you mean.i put 36 sq.ft of that in a impala in preparation for my q12 with bp option.still rattles hard.got a new punch t1000-1bd rated at 1271rms and wow...never thought my ears would hurt from a SQ subwoofer:) let alone 1.go FI

Ya most sound dampening will stop rattle but it cant stop flex from the more powerful systems. It stopped some rattle on my car but doesnt come close to stopping any flex

@Ravagar They are both completely different. The Q is more SQ and the BTL is for SPL. Also the BTL costs way more and needs a way more powerful amp to power it but it's definitely louder

@Ravagar I have no idea. It also depends on the location. Way up north in the woods where it's really quiet my system can be heard from at least a half mile but in the city it's probably only a couple blocks. But really who cares?

Fi makes the best subs hand down... have a Fi Q 12 that used to be in my Mustang, it's in a32hz 2.5^3ft KERF ported box, and it is amazing.

I have it in my 300C now and it sounds 10x better than when it was in my Mustang. Contemplating adding a second Fi Q but not sure if I can handle it
