The economic collapse will affect all the other countries as well,they are currently rioting over food prices overseas,and many have cancelled exports in fear of starving their own nations.I hope the best for the U.S.A because when it goes down,we all do as well.The state the world is in now is getting pretty scary.We're all screwed,rich or not.

The reasons of the US economic collapse are: 1. American people are wasting resources and living beyond their limits 2. Imports are killing the dollar 3. Wars and especially the war in Iraq.

America is not only facing total economic collapse but also the collapse of the Federal government and the union. Many States will go there own way.

Here's an alternative solution that nobody seems to be talking about: the problem is that we have policy makers in the US which are the cause of the deconstruction of our physical economy...the solution is a matter of removing them out of the system and then organize across the nation, reinstating Constitutional Representatives who have the intelligence to implement LaRouche's policies. Out of 300 million Americans you would think we could find 375 leaders to replace the current Congress.

get a quality water filter, save long lasting foods, buy tools and equipment, "SAVE SEEDS", save as much knowledge as possible you will depend on it to survive, be ready to move away from the cities... if a major crisis unfolds you wont want to be in em, pack ammo, military supplies like blankets and first aid items

Saving seeds from store bought food is a waste of time. To prevent spoilage most food is treated with mild radiation that leaves most seeds sterile. Otherwise you have a good post.

By the time everyone finally turns off Survivor it will be out of control. We the People don't run our government anymore. We really are too lazy and completely ignorant of the goings on. In my opinion there are no really good presidential candidates (except for Ron Paul), and we are at the mercy of our 3 branches of government, which, if there is a "national catastrophe" will become a dictatorship. Interesting information. I just think it is time to hunker down and grow your own food and build shelter. Make ready for this disaster to happen.
