The cadence of her voice grinds on me . Its OK I guess girls dont mind that girl speak but as a guy listening to your story it is way obvious men are from mars and woman like you are definitly from venus or beyond. Prior to knowing your sexual orientation, I was thinking what guy would hang with a woman who talks this way.
It just seems everyone is different, but the same. Even many straight people arent comfortable in their skin for years, I think with some people its about experience. The older you get, hopefully the more you feel comfortable. I believe the strongest people are the ones who have experienced insecurities, and have persevered.
In the beggining of finding myself, i actually was very narrow-minded and thought that I didnt have much to say about lesbians. Not enough common I thought.
THAT is NOT the case at all now. My really close friend is lesbian, and joining your channel has only helped remind me of what a wonderful person she is.
I think you made some really good points. it really isnt all that easy, and you had a bumpy road yourself. Thank you so much!! you are GREAT
I still have a hard time saying 'lesbian' out loud. well i can say it, just not referring to myself..im still kinda weird about that part..im getting there though =)
I think im abit too comfertable (wrong choice of word) Cause If I see a guy and a girl kiss or make out... I feel abit wierded out, like.... "that isn't normal, right?"

I was going to leave a mean beaver joke but it turns out you are a dyke, so now I just want to burn you for being a witch. weird
unrelated topic, did you bewitch the crops? I heard that old man parkins was vexed by a demon spirit, was that you too? Don't steal the souls of any infants in your village, its not too late to repent. it might be too late to save your skin but at least you can ask for god's forgiveness. there is no place for your perversions or vanity, now get thee behind me satan!
Thats awesome Michelle! Its weird though because I live in South Carolina and I've never heard of The Beaver Bar haha! I guess thats a new place for my friends and I to check out! I love you loads! Have a great weekend!
It's in Murrel's Inlet near Myrtle Beach. However, it is NOT a lesbian bar. It's a biker bar of all things. However, when my partner and I went in -- and we are quite obviously lesbian -- wanting to buy out the place with various merch, no one batted an eye.
Michelle -- thank you so much for featuring the shirt! You just gave me the biggest smile. :) Buying Beaver merch for you guys was a no brainer, really. Once we saw the bar we were like "We must buy a shirt for Michelle!" Next time we're down in SC visiting my family we'll buy stuff for the rest of the Beavs. :) The work you guys are doing is so, so important. When I was a teenager, the only gay people I ever saw were on Ricki Lake or Jerry Springer. Scary huh? Thank you for all you have done.
i feel like you and i are or were on the same path... its taken me a bit to just accept it and be able to say outloud that i am but even still its like should i write it or say it... but yea... i couldn't yell it out but finally writing has been the facet to help me come out and just say it... like you and your videos! congrats on your coming out and acceptance and your confidence! :)
Love seeing Mama Beaver back on the real track :)
I would never have thought you weren't all out yet when the beaverbunch journey started 'cos your confidence hit me right away! :) since yours were the first vid's I found from the BB it's always kinda special to me.. Keep up the awesomeness in being you, it helps soo much every week!
your guys' videos have helped me alot with being comfortable in this last year. Its nice having a place to come where its just ok to be gay. Im getting to the point where I can tell people, answer their dumb questions, and not worry about it ever again.
I only just turned 17 on sunday and I got kicked out of home last night because my friend accidentally slipped that I'm gay to my parents. I'm now living with another friend.
My parents kinda knew I was gay, but all they were angry about is that I had told people about my "affliction" acording to them.
How am I supposed to be happy with who I am after experiencing that?
Your parent's reaction bears no reflection on you. It is a reflection on them and their failure to parent. No parent should kick their child out of the house. Ever. I hope they come around over time to see the error of their ways. Know that you are lovable and worthy of love regardless. Be proud of who you are and the bravery you have shown by coming out in such a hostile environment. That kind of bravery takes guts that very few possess. Best of luck and hang in there.
@weskate93 In the words of Lori " How your parents feel about you being gay is a choice, you being gay is not a choice!" thats really really horrible that your parents did that.that any parent would do that to there own child ...my advice would just be to talk to them about it get your point across that your the exact same person and that your still there child...and just give them time,I truly hope everything works out ;-) and im here if you ever need to talk! <3
You werent completely out when you did the beaver bunch? D: Ive been out for 3 years me being a baby beaver and all has been out longer then the mama beaver. this is shocking!

Give them time, they surely overreacted and they'll realize that the most important is that you're their child !
I'm truly sorry for what happened to you, but this is just a really bad moment. Don't blame who you're for that and trust me, happiness will come!
