...I love B & B, I grew up on it in the UK, now living & married in a non-native English speaking country, I got one 3 year old daughter who's learning to speak, not a good idea for her to learn my language from B&B, we live in a Chinese speaking country, but I let her see this episode sometimes. Just wish it were clearer to see, (when enlarging to view.)
@silversurfers7 let her decide how she wants to speak..im british born and bread but i can still say WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED and at47 my kids think im nuts ha ha
I'm twenty-two and I grew up watching children's shows such as this! :)
Thank goodness for the ol' VHS eh? ;)
I still vividly remember the musical vegetables episode.
Muffin the Mule was also a favourite. One thing I have noticed about children's shows now - they're all incredibly loud and crass! What's wrong with a narrator and some simple music?
This is definitely a blast from the past ....however, looking back on children's shows when I was growing up as a child in the UK it is a wonder how we ever learned to speak :)
Awesome blast from the past! I remember this from the late 50's & early 60's in Lincoln England before coming to the states as a "lickle lad" as we say over the pond! Nice to remember something from 52 yrs ago.
Ah, it all comes flooding back. The terror of the gardener coming back down the garden.

I like it but it was really such a stupid way to talk. I used to go around shouting 'weed' & 'flobbleopp'! Not good when you're 25!

Thanks for sharing this ... I watched this show when I was a child in Australia. I used to really love watching it - happy to see this.
