schmexyhead567...how would you know it's impossible? do you honestly...100% KNOW that it's impossible for God, Himself to literally tell the men who wrote the bible what to write? can you prove that YOU are right? cause i CAN prove that God DID put HIS words through the men who wrote the bible. You can't just state something without really knowing what your saying...just cause it doesn't MAKE SENSE to you...does not mean it's not true.

He will ans your prayer! Giv Him time! He knows what is best for us! I know, He is always there. you should believe Him! you once read d bible, the bible is holy! you shouldnt say all those awful words. God will forgive your sins.

I think a lot of times people put God in a box, so they think God can't do anything out of it. But God is God, you can't put Him in a box. That's why He says His thoughts are higher than ours.

the bible doesnt say thou shall not kill. it says thou shall not murder. it makes a ton of difference when people who dont know their facts try to disprove the bible.

there is a difference. murder is premeditated and deliberate, killing isn't necessarily so.

who do you think wrote the bible? did it just fall from the sky? No, that's impossible. some guy just got bored and probably had low self-esteem. he just wrote these things about God and how you should believe in him so he could feel better about himself. God didnt speak to him. That's impossible. It's like believing in ghosts.*mind blank, more later?*

schmexyhead, i know what u mean. i had endless questions and doubts of God. Stubborn as hell. Even when i started to experience God for myself, i have had countless times, like what jaeson said "is this real?" The thing is, our realization is that God exists and He takes care of the 'proving he's real' part.

Our focus is Jesus, who he is, what did he do. love, love, love.

After understanding that, if sumone asks me about the credibility of God's existence,

im like "are you kidding me?" (not that i say it out)

But has going to war helped? NO. It's only made the world a worse place to live in. God is there for emotional support, a mental comfort. he's not there for people to go overboard and follow everything that the bible says and twist the words around to think it says something that it doesnt.

i think religion gives people false hope. one thing i'd like to add that is racing through my mind is that the other day on JCTV, this guy was saying how "in the bible it doesnt say anything about not going to war and in the ten commandments it says Thou Shall Not Kill, but if there is a good cause for going to war then go because God wants you to make his world a better place and if you have to fight in war in the process of it then so be it"
