My husband is being ordained as a deacon this Sunday and a friend is singing AT The Crossing because the elderly pastor that married us, helped us to grow in our life together and came and prayed during our daughter's birth. sang it with his wife in our church. We just celebrated our 43rd anniversary. We know we will see Preacher Luckett when we cross that river. Thank you for your ministry. Lynn Greene
Such a beautifl song. So glad I am a child of God and some day He will guide me across t hat river and I will be with Him forever. I sing at several nursing homes and I definetly will be singing this song to them. Thank you for posting this. God bless you.
MAN O MAN WHAT A GREAT SONG,IT TOUCHS MY HEART EVERY TIME I HEAR IT,WE SING IT A CHURCH IN CHOIR THANKS FOR A WONDERFUL SONG,KEEPING ON THE FIRING LINE,BLESS YOU
Hey felllows, I was listenning to this over and over, then I happened to notice the recent nasty comment. I know you want let that discourage you- some just can't recieve the spirit of what is done in a rich offering like this. God bless you, Chas.
Ronnie, I sorry I said your music sucked. That was rude of me. That song "At the crossing" sounds like the mandolin is on the mic and it over powers your voice and guitar on occasion. If you stood up by him, you could work the dynamics better by getting that Martin off you body. Also the other player sings well enough to learn the harmony , just kick it around a little more and it wil make a great tune
@ttexino after looking at your channel, I don't place much faith in what you think sucks. If you don't like this channel, or just want to cause problems, please don't come back. I will block you after another nasty comment.
Another family favorite! Brings back happy and sad memories as this is the song my sister chose to have sang at her funeral. So glad to have found you, keep singing 'em.
this is one of the most beautiful hymns i have ever heard ,i could sit and listen to you singing all night you have the voice of an Angel God has blessed you in a unique way please keep them coming we need more of these old gospel songs brought back i was raised on this type of music thank you Praise God you just bought back mywhole memories of a wonderful countrygospel upbringing our whole family on my dads side we all sang like this every weekendGod Bless Donna Clark Siant John NB Canada
i wanna thank you soo much for posting this song. my grammas chruch played this song for her at her furneal i coulod never find it anywhere..thanks..very nice <3
Thank you for the comments, my friend Kenny is truly a blessed man and it seems that God has also blessed you with the wonderful gift of music that touches the soul as well.

Hi Ronnie, it's Jo Ann. It's been awhile! Started thinking about you and this song and my father. Listening to it tonight, I close my eyes and I can almost hear him singing with you. Wanted you to know that recently I was experiencing severe headaches which turned out to be a brain tumor. It was removed April 11th and praise God I have been completely restored! God is great and is looking over me! God Bless you and your ministry!
Thank you Kidkel69 for this God send of a channel. I subbed before the first line of the song was done. Beautiful job on this song and singing right along with you. Oh I am going to love this channel so much.

I came across your music tonight when I was just looking around and wanted to say I really like your music and think you have great talent. Being from eastern Kentucky I was raised and love this kind of music and it is great to know that from here all the way to Florida there are people who appreciate it and it is part of their lives. Thank you for your music and I hope to see more from you in the future.
I want to thank you for the video "at the crossing". This song was my grandmother's favorite song and was played at her funeral several year ago. Since then my father and I have searched for the song and could never find it. December 8th, 2007 at around 6am my father passed away of a heart attack. I began searching for the song again and we found your video. We played it at the funeral and it was beautiful. Thank you again, you have no idea how much this meant to my family.
Jo Ann, I just got back to see what date I posted this song, it was Dec. 8, 2007, that was a Saturday, I recorded it the Thursday night before. Thank the Lord, he knew when you needed it!
If I ever doubted God's perfect timing, this is unmistakably God and probably my father too! Thanks for doing what you do...you made a difference in my life.
This story has me in tears. If this isn't God's timing, nothing is. Thank you, whitesal, for sharing your story, and thanks to Ronnie for telling us to read the comments.
