She craved that sense of drama and confrontation as much as he did (sometimes more) and gave back as good as she got. To call her a victim of abuse is to underestimate her, as well as give her a free pass because she was a woman.

alcohol is such a shit drug. The reason it's the one of the only legal drugs is because it's because you can make it yourself so easily. Otherwise it would've been made illegal like the rest so the government can right a phoney drug war and sell you the dope they fly in from Afghanistan with the soldiers defending the crop.
Sadly, it's a much more depraved and wicked world next to what Morrison left.

@ggreenwood4 ya right. I met Morrison briefly in 1968 at a press conference in Chicago. I was only a major market DJ at the time. And he was a complete prick, arrogant and rude...looked like he hadn't slept in months.
@Intergalaxy i think he might've been a user. probably less often than pam. i just think they got into an argument... he went out on a bender... and decided to mix a load of alcohol with a load of cocain or some heroin.
Supposedly it was a cover up. Cause of death was never determined and supposedly there was no autopsy performed. Now his then manager (poetry and writing) did come forward and said that he was found in a bathtub with blood running from his nose. He hemorrhaged to death. The cause officially isn't known but this person does believe it was heroin. He thinks Pam dumped it before anyone had arrived.
Jim's body was weakened from years of alcohol abuse. He was coughing and chain smoking in Paris. Him and Pam did some heroin in a night club. He passed out and was carried to an apartment. Hoping to revive him he was placed into a bath of warm water. Too late. He was already dead. "Oh my God screamed Pam, I've killed Jim."

The surviving members of the Doors are EXTREMELY protective of their music. They rarely give license to use any of their music on any movie, tv show, et al. They will sue anyone in a heartbeat. Can't say I blame any of them.

alcohol is such a shit drug. The reason it's the one of the only legal drugs is because it's because you can make it yourself so easily. Otherwise it would've been made illegal like the rest so the government can right a phoney drug war and sell you the dope they fly in from Afghanistan with the soldiers defending the crop.
Sadly, it's a much more depraved and wicked world next to what Morrison left.

The Doors still tour. Ray took over the lead vocals. Its true Jim is dead. We all must die at some time or another. But consider this before you judge the passing of his life. His music is still played and listen to, DECADES after his passing. Such is the legacy of his mind and soul. Will your deeds and thoughts withstand the passing of time? Yes he is gone, but his music lives on!

sad end to their short lives, but physical life is nothing, what counts is the eternity that is endless, a resting place for the sould, compared to everything else, had he lived 60 years or 27 it hadnt have made a difference, the life we live on this planet is just as real as the dreams we have or our ideas and visions of that which is beyond our understanding

@ggreenwood4 ya right. I met Morrison briefly in 1968 at a press conference in Chicago. I was only a major market DJ at the time. And he was a complete prick, arrogant and rude...looked like he hadn't slept in months.

Supposedly it was a cover up. Cause of death was never determined and supposedly there was no autopsy performed. Now his then manager (poetry and writing) did come forward and said that he was found in a bathtub with blood running from his nose. He hemorrhaged to death. The cause officially isn't known but this person does believe it was heroin. He thinks Pam dumped it before anyone had arrived.

Jim's body was weakened from years of alcohol abuse. He was coughing and chain smoking in Paris. Him and Pam did some heroin in a night club. He passed out and was carried to an apartment. Hoping to revive him he was placed into a bath of warm water. Too late. He was already dead. "Oh my God screamed Pam, I've killed Jim."

The surviving members of the Doors are EXTREMELY protective of their music. They rarely give license to use any of their music on any movie, tv show, et al. They will sue anyone in a heartbeat. Can't say I blame any of them.
