Has anyone else ever noticed that THE DEVILS REJECTS is a REMAKE of The EMPIRE STRIKES BACK? Watch it, and think about it as if the firefly fam are the Rebel Alliance, and the Sheriff is Darth Vader with his police force backing him as the Empire, and he hire's bounty hunters. What brought the idea to my attention was the scene where Spaulding, Otis, and Baby arrive at Charlie's and get the same kind of welcome Han and the gang did at cloud city, then Charlie betrays them just as Lando did Han.
One of my FAVORITE horror films in the "human monster" category. REALLY, REALLY good stuff, especially Otis, " I am the Devil, and I am here to do the Devil's work. " God that line gives my wife and I the chills, it could have come off as such a cheesy one liner but man, Bill Mosely NAILS it and damned if for that moment he AIN'T the Devil, great stuff man....

stephen king does much better books and movies my favorite from him is the shining and it you should check out the books and movies he made some of his media stuff is based on true stories.
@claycandy53 He had NOTHINNG to do with the movies, I'm a HUGE King fan with an almost complete set of first editions ( just missing carrie damnit), but he freely admits he will whore out any of his properties and once you buy it as far as he is concerned you can do what the hell you want with it, as he said " The movie is not my novel". Not to mention that most of the "best" king adaptations tend to be the more non-horror stuff. King worked on creepshow (awesome) and maximum overdrive,(awful)
