I have the same card, 8600m GT; same CPU, T8300; and 4 gigs of ram. Yet, smoke seems to kill my FPS. What's your average FPS (and settings)? Plus, what drivers are you using. Keep trying to find the right drivers to fix the smoke/dust prob.

When i was playing CoD5:WaW i used 179.28 drivers. Now week ago i updated to 185.68 which seems work great at this moment. I dont remember exact video settings i was playing on but resolution 1400x900(1280x800 not sure) and most of setting on medium plus some special effects on. I was getting playable fps, thought never droped below 30

looks good. It's also running just as good on my asus n50vn c1s with duo t9400 and the nvidia 9650GT (1 gig dedicated vid ram)

i think it was 1440x900 but iam not sure, maybe 1280x800

so you say that with my laptop 8600m gt duo core 2.2 ghz 3gb ram and 512mb vid card thing i can play this game smooth on high????

well right now iam running it on C2D T8300 (2.4GHz), 8600M GT 512MB and 4GB RAM and with medium settings with most of special effects on and it is cool - playable
