I have one of these guitars, and I love it. But, my bridge pickup died dead. I replaced it with a Fender pup they use in the MIM tele's, It sounds better. This guitar is worth the money and more. Grab one. if the electronics are weak, that's a cheap fix. I replaced the switch (which some have had problems with also) with an all parts. I think it's gonna be around forever. Great guitars.
The necks on these things are GREAT! No problems whatsoever going from cold to hot has never bowed an dpolays as slick as my MIA fender neck...In fact I like this neck BETTER!!! GREAT NECK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@bashfulbrother I have the White Classic Vibe tele (with alnico 3's ass opposed to the 5's in the butterscotch blonde model) and I have so say this guitar is phenominal, no neck issues at all. I like it as much (if not more) as my MIM tele
@dontommy069 I heard that Fender is taking this guitar out of the Squier Line and is going sell it in their main line of guitars. So I would guess one of two things will happen.
Either the Squier model will be worth nothing or years from now they will be the collectibles that people want.
I love mine too. I had a little problem with my neck bowing but I live where it is very dry.
My guitar tech took care of it. I bought the CV 50's strat and it just screams.
@dontommy069 I have the Butter scotch and those alnico V's SCREAM and I LOVE their NECK! NEVER had a problem with anything on this guitar and I LOVE the slick NECK more than my MIA Tele!
@bashfulbrother NEVER ! This is one of the best necks I've had on any of my guitars this neck has held up in all kinds of weather going from hot to cold and cold to Hot without ever having a problem...This neck has held up beter than my MIA Tele. I LOVE this neck and how Slick it is. Great Neck!!!
If you like that neck, you must have tiny hands.
I threw the neck from mine in the garbage (actually it's in a box in the closet) and bought another one from Allparts.
