You take a photo with a still camera. Move whatever it is. Take another photo and so on. Over and over and over. Then you put them all on the computer in order and set it to music or whatever you want.

I did think about this during the early ideas, as a way of getting fluid motion like you said with moving clouds ect. but like Paul said it would ruin the idea behind the video. We did it that way for a reason. I might do a bit of chroma key work with timelapse when appropriate and I have more experience, and editing skillz.

It was a very experimental idea that came about, and shooting it I had no honest idea how it was going to end up. I think the vision we all shared came through in the final product, and it's been a start of a new way of working for me. Putting this together in the tight little team that we formed in a short space of time is something I don't witness very often. (not often enough!)

It was first time doing this for any of us....it took many hours and a lot of love! It turned out quite organic and I'm proud to have been a part of it - even if you hate it, it's probably not what you'd first expect from a Babycakes vid. My fave bit is the first part.

Paul, be more creative, do better next time. Stop motion with people doesn't work so great, but it does work for clay figures and such. Also, the way she moved her arms was way too unnatural. No one moves like that, to make a good advert, you have to make sure your audience can relate to it.. Now feel weird about it.
