@NCAAFProductions with callahan in 2007, we had by far the worst defense in the conference and one of the worst in all of college football. in just 2 years, Bo made it a top 10 defense (#1 in total points allowed in 2009). that is pretty damn impressive. he turned an average d lineman in Suh into a freaking heisman canidate! we have two to three guys on our defense this season that will go in the first round of the draft (crick, dennard, possibly david). anyone who bashes Bo is a moron.

I had some god awful teachers back in the day and they didn't do anything for me in terms of getting ready for college. And what you're saying if i get this right is that you have earned basically a three or higher on all of your exams but they can't be true totally as you won't get your scores for this year's tests until July.

I don't know why people make a big deal about, because Nebraska has not done anything that other major football programs have already done. For instance, they play a weak conference schedule. @NCAAFProductions with callahan in 2007, we had by far the worst defense in the conference and one of the worst in all of college football. in just 2 years, Bo made it a top 10 defense (#1 in total points allowed in 2009). that is pretty damn impressive. he turned an average d lineman in Suh into a freaking heisman canidate! we have two to three guys on our defense this season that will go in the first round of the draft (crick, dennard, possibly david). anyone who bashes Bo is a moron.

I had some god awful teachers back in the day and they didn't do anything for me in terms of getting ready for college. And what you're saying if i get this right is that you have earned basically a three or higher on all of your exams but they can't be true totally as you won't get your scores for this year's tests until July.

But Turner looks like he has some amazing potential and it also sounds like Brion Carnes was playing much better than anticipated on the scout team. Will be some good competition in the off season and fall came in August. Offensively we got a long ways to go to compete with the Big Ten elite!

Not just losing to the Longhorns, but the way we lose. It almost always comes down to the final play of the game. We couldn't even beat one of the worst Texas teams in their history.... we are cursed I think! No doubt Texas will be better next year. See ya in a bowl gam maybe!

This year was really disappointing to watch, especially when we lost to teams like Iowa State and Baylor and also it's disappointing that this is the first time in a long time that we're not bowl eligible. However, I'm one of those diehard fans who attended every home again no matter who won. Oh well, there is always next year. However, the good news is I got tickets to the Holiday Bowl to see Nebraska play. I'll be wearing all my husker gear!!!

@snakebandit The Nebraska football program is nothing special. I don't know why people make a big deal about, because Nebraska has not done anything that other major football programs have already done. For instance, they play a weak conference schedule. No wonder why Nebraska wins, they play teams like South Dakota State, Florida Atlantic,Idaho, and Western Kentucky. Those teams are cupcake teams that any old team could beat. At least USC plays a decent non conference schedule.

I can gurantee you that once we're off probation, we'll be back and bigger than ever!!! The 90s have been over for quite some time now, feel free to join us in 2010. The main reason for leaving the big 12 was Beebe and Texas. We were sick of them ripping us off, but hey I will miss OU fans and team as well. Actually my family supports OU behind Nebraska because of the respectful fans. So thanks for respecting our decision as we will miss you guys and maybe we meet for a championship. :)

@dsrtdog41 I just have to say that for me, a die-hard HUSKER fan in oregon(considered insane and a fanatical fan of my team here) I will miss the Husker/OU games against each other as well. I HATED not havin our Thanksgivin dinner n watchin both teams go at it in the Big 8! This last Big 12 Title game was bittersweet for me to watch but just as powerful as I remember the games we played. Good luck with osu, ku, ksu, mizzu and the rest of the teams. Hopefully we meet in the years to come!

Neb. had some positives on the year..played for a confernce champ, won 10 games, Roy Helu broke a school rushing record against Mizzou (what a suckie team) and we are going to be in a conference that has alot more money (better for recruiting) and playing in alot bigger games....no more boaring blowouts against poor teams such as ku, mu, ksu

Nebraska is the 4th all time winningest program in college football history and leads the nation in 300 plus home sellouts and has never been on probation.
