Dont you have an automatic chuck on that dewalt drill? you can just hold the chuck (thing you were spinning) and put the drill on forward and itll do it.... same thing for reverse except hold it and set it on reverse.
that was a great idea for props, you know if you use like 6 of your yarn stings and twist them in to a thinker rope, it will be strong enough for a human to climb.
