i don't aunderstand how the chameleons being one of the best bands ever and undoubtedly having amazing lyrics were shadowed by other bands with not as much talent like joy division (this sounds crazy but it's true)
@psbarrera I totally agree. They are one of the most underrated bands of the last thirty years. But really, comon - Joy Division? You're really questioning the talent of JOY DIVISION? I love Mark Burgess but Curtis is a god. Present tense.
I saw him at a small club in California. Not many people showed up. It was great but I had to split to catch the last train home. I only got to see 3 or 4 songs being played. I lost one of my best friends the other day and it was He who turned me onto the Chameleons UK back in 82-83. Miss you Eddie.
You're lucky. I just discovered The Chameleons about a month ago...and I'm 35 years old!! It's a crime that even indie radio stations here in Los Angeles still don't play them. The first 2 albums are kicking my ass. I play them both every day. Too bad The Chameleons broke up.
fantastic
