It's a fact that Benny was instrumental in the progression of air flare combos, but it's also a fact that he got as good at them as he did after hanging out with Soul Control in Barmak's and Chase's garages in LA in '97. We've always had mad love for Benny, but he simply wasn't doing the same stuff with air flares that we were doing, until soon after. All of this stuff happened over a very short period of time, so it's easy to get some of the details mixed up.
@NYCSubway2012 long stroy short my friend ...we flew to germany for this battle 14 hours drove 4 hours in a car then the next day took a 9 hour bus ride with no food or water ...basil city took a 3 hour train ride...we all waited 5 hours until the end of the jam to battle....pablo ended up gettin very sick and couldnt dance...yes this video is from december 98....pablo was doing mulitple airflares in august 1998...i would never disrespect benny EVER!!!

This is a great video. Much respect. I first seen some Jamaican cats hitting some Airtracks into windmills and other moves in like 1994. As far as I know Pablo and Soul Control were the first to do continuous. Later that year and the year to follow alot of other BBoys started doing them. I look up to Soul Control they made me want to fly.
Many bboys did them before pablo they were called airtracks or startracks and were very low like the level of a flare however pablo was the first to connect them continously and to combo them extensively

The first airflares i've seen were around late 90's by Curious George,A guy from Five Amox,Night crawler,Saigon 5 amox,benny tuff kid and ofcourse Pablo.That was on FSS3.He quicky became my fav because of his powerful flare.

This is a great video. Much respect. I first seen some Jamaican cats hitting some Airtracks into windmills and other moves in like 1994. As far as I know Pablo and Soul Control were the first to do continuous. Later that year and the year to follow alot of other BBoys started doing them. I look up to Soul Control they made me want to fly.
