  • Harry should be brave and make comedy without a laugh track. Charactor gets to be much more powerful.

  • You have to understand a bit about British life and the stupid class based society to get that sketch. Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse are both consummate comedians, to which laughter and merriment are, to recall an earlier sketch of theirs, compulsory!

  • I agree with you, and I don't think we should harrangue Americans for not getting it. There's no reason why they should, this is a very particular sector of English society that they're lampooning here, and doing it perfectly. Anyone know when the series starts?
